摘要： A two-part display device for mounting on metal shelving panels provided with a rearwardly projecting sheet metal flange. A clip-like mounting member frictionally grips the rearwardly projecting metal flange and forms a vertical socket at the front edge of the shelving. A merchandise hook and/or label device is inserted in the socket and has a portion projecting upward in front of the shelving to positively lock the device onto the shelving. Provision is made for free pivoting movement of a merchandise hook in a side-to-side direction, in case of accidental contact. Key and key slot means is provided to prevent accidental dislodgement. Several different devices may be inserted in a clip-like mounting member of common design.

摘要： A bar coded index tab for affixation of a label to an article. The tab has a base (60) including a front face (70) and a notch (80) extending across the front face for affixing thereto a label (20) having machine-readable bar coded information on a portion of the label and human-readable information on another portion of the label. The machine-readable information is read in one portion of the notch and the human-readable information is read in another portion of the notch. Lips (110A and 110B) are provided along each side of the notch to grip the label. The reading instrument is located against one of the lips for movement along the lip to accurately read the bar code information without the necessity for human visual contact with the label. The tab has means (120) for attaching the base to an object to be labelled.

摘要： A baggage tag retainer adaptable to be permanently bonded to the exterior of a luggage container. The retainer is shaped so as to detachably retain a conventional airline destination baggage claim tag and is marked with a permanent identification number that is concealed from view when the airline baggage tag is mounted in the retainer. By means of my invention, baggage destination tags will be more securely fixed to luggage so as to prevent loss of the tag during the normal handling of the luggage on conveyor systems and the luggage will be permanently identified with the owner, while all such owner identification is concealed from view of unauthorized persons during transport of the luggage.

摘要： Apparatus for releasably attaching a sign to a display stand. The sign comprises a sheet of material folded into a central section and a pair of upstanding display sections. The sign support inludes a pair of pivotally connected support members. One support member is releasably attached to the support surface and supports the central section of the sign. The other support member engages the display sections of the sign and maintains them in an upright orientation relative to the support surface. Mating catches on the support members secure the support members to each other in order to securely engage the sign. The engagement between the mating catches may be released in order to pivot the support members relative to each other so that the sign may be removed from the sign support, without removing the sign support from the support surface. The sign support is preferably formed as a unitary, molded plastic article.

摘要： A safety tag holder for high voltage and other types of hazardous equipment. A flat holder, transparent on both sides with an intervening space between covers for insertion of a flat card, is constructed completely of electrical insulating material. A hook at one end of the holder is located in the same plane as the card and has a holding clip so the holder can not be accidentally removed from cables or rod upon which it is hung. A ring in the plane of the holder permits handling the holder with a pole which has a matching hook.
