    Abstract: A liquid crystal display includes an insulating substrate, gate and data lines formed on the substrate to define pixel areas, or collectively a display area. Gate signal interconnection wires are formed at a corner portion of the substrate outside the display area to transmit gate electrical signals, and provided with gate signal interconnection lines and first and second gate signal interconnection pads connected to both ends of the gate signal interconnection lines. A gate insulating layer, and a protective layer are further formed on the substrate, and provided with first and second contact holes exposing the first and second gate signal interconnection pads. Gate and data signal transmission films are attached to the substrate, and provided with first and second gate signal leads and first and second gate signal wires. The first and second gate signal leads are connected to the first and second gate signal interconnection pads through the first and second contact holes. The first or the second gate signal lead completely covers the first or the second contact hole at least in the longitudinal direction of the lead.

    Abstract: An ink-jet print head preventing thermal accumulation on a nozzle plate includes a substrate, a channel formed in the substrate to supply ink, a nozzle plate connected to the substrate and including a nozzle corresponding to the channel, a heat element formed in the nozzle plate to surround the nozzle, a thermal conduction layer formed on an upper side of the heat element formed between the thermal conduction layer and the heat element, and a thermal shunt spaced-apart from the heat element by a predetermined distance not to overlap the heat element in a direction parallel to the nozzle plate and connecting the thermal conduction layer to the substrate. Redundant heat generated from the heat element is not accumulated on a membrane of the nozzle plate but is rapidly absorbed into an inorganic thermal conduction layer formed in the membrane and is transferred to the bulk silicon substrate through a metallic thermal bridge, such as the thermal shunt.

    Abstract: Finishing throwaway ball endmill has a blade tip adapted to make a firm attachment to a body thereof with easy. The endmill includes a body having a slot formed from an end thereof to a certain depth along an axis thereof, a wedge inserting hole formed in one side thereof and a screw inserting hole formed in the other side thereof both of which are in communication to the slot, and a wedge upper contact formed inside of the wedge inserting hole, a blade tip having a screw pass-through hole, the screw pass-through hole having a tapered wedge lower contact around an edge thereof, and the wedge inserting hole, the screw inserting hole and the screw pass-through hole being aligned when the blade tip is inserted in the slot in the body, a wedge having a fore end and a threaded hole formed in a direction of an axis thereof, the fore end having an upper sloped surface for contact with the wedge upper contact and a lower sloped surface for contact with the wedge lower contact when the wedge is inserted in the wedge inserting hole, and a screw for being threaded with a thread in the threaded hole through the screw inserting hole and the screw pass-through hole.
