摘要： Illumination unit UT is used for the illumination of an LCD panel 1 from the rear side of the LCD panel 1. Illumination unit UT includes light source 2, rear cover 6 to cover light source 2 and resin frame 7 assembled with rear cover 6. Resin frame 7 is provided with stopper 73 and rib 74 disposed to restrict the movement of stopper 73 perpendicularly to rib 74. Rear cover 6 has first and second apertures 64 and 65 provided correspondingly to receive stopper 73 and rib 74, respectively. Resin frame 7 and rear cover 6 are assembled with each other by the engagement of stopper 73 and rib 74 with first and second apertures 64 and 65, respectively.

摘要： New fiber lasers, spontaneous emission sources, and optical fiber amplifiers are provided. Their conventional counterparts, which have a fiber doped with thulium (Tm) ions and excited by 0.67 μm or 0.8 μm pumping light, have a problem in that their characteristics are deteriorated with the elapse of time. The new fiber lasers, spontaneous emission sources, and optical fiber amplifiers use 1.2 μm light as pumping light. Alternatively, they use a pumping source for exciting the thulium from the lowest energy level 3H6 to 3H5 excitation level. As a more preferable configuration, they improve the emission efficiency at 2.3 μm band by disclosing Tm-doped host glass.

摘要： An instant photographic film unit includes a mask sheet having an image frame and two sheets, one of which has a photosensitive layer, laminated and bonded together, and a developing liquid container disposed in a predetermined position for supplying a developing liquid between the two sheets to produce an image. The mask sheer and the two sheets are bonded together in a predetermined laminated state, with at least one of the mask sheet and the two sheets being in the form of a continuous web. The continuous web is cut off into self-developed instant photographic film units of a predetermined length. A predetermined number of instant photographic film units are automatically stacked and placed in a film pack.

The reflecting sheet is disposed so that an edge portion (5a) is bent so as to be positioned between the light guiding plate-retaining portion of the housing and the end face of the light guiding plate.
