Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for channel state information (CSI) reporting with frequency domain (FD) compression. A method that can be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes determining the size of the intermediate set based on one or more parameters included in the CSI report configuration, determining one or more FD bases for each layer based on the intermediate set, wherein the one or more FD bases are characterized by an M value indicative of a number of the one or more FD bases and based on the CSI report configuration, and reporting the one or more FD bases for each layer based on the size of the intermediate set.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for precoder matrix quantization for compressed channel state information (CSI) feedback. A method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) (120a) includes receiving a CSI report configuration for frequency domain compressed precoder matrix feedback. The CSI report configuration configures the UE (120a) to report, for a plurality of selected beams at a plurality of time domain taps, a frequency domain compression basis vector and a plurality of linear combination coefficients associated with the frequency domain compression (805). For each of the beams, the UE (120a) groups the time domain taps into at least first and second groups. The groups each can have zero, one, or more than one time domain taps (810). The UE (120a) quantizes the corresponding linear combination coefficients and/or frequency domain compression basis vectors based on the grouping (815).

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for scheduling hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback and controlling the transmit power of the HARQ feedback. An example method generally includes generating a configuration for physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource sets assigned to at least one user equipment (UE), wherein each of the PUCCH resources sets comprises PUCCH resources, transmitting the configuration for the PUCCH resource sets to the at least one UE, generating an uplink control reporting indication indicating the PUCCH resources associated with downlink demodulation reference signal (DMRS) port groups, transmitting the uplink control reporting indication, to the at least one UE, for use in reporting uplink control information (UCI), and receiving at least a part of the UCI associated with at least one of the downlink DMRS port groups from the at least one UE via the PUCCH resources indicated in the uplink control reporting indication.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may determine a first decoding result for a plurality of downlink control channels of a diversity enhancement based non-coherent joint transmission communication and a second decoding result for a plurality of data channels corresponding to the plurality of downlink control channels; and selectively provide feedback regarding the first decoding result and feedback regarding the second decoding result, the feedback regarding the first decoding result indicating whether reception of one or more downlink control channels, of the plurality of downlink control channels, is successful, and the feedback regarding the second decoding result indicating whether decoding of a codeword of the plurality of data channels is successful. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which sequence groups, and sequence hopping patterns may be used to distinguish concurrent non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) transmissions. A wireless device, such as a user equipment (UE), may identify, for a message, a first transmission opportunity from a plurality of transmission opportunities associated with grant-free uplink contention-based transmissions (e.g., NOMA transmissions); select a multiple access (MA) signature sequence from a group of MA signature sequences associated with the first transmission opportunity; identify a hopping pattern associated with the MA signature sequence; and transmit one or more redundancy versions of the message in one or more of the plurality of transmission opportunities comprising the first transmission opportunity according to the MA signature sequence and the hopping pattern.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter device may allocate data associated with a user equipment (UE), of two or more UEs, into at least one of a first part, a second part, or a combination thereof; multiplex the first part of the data associated with the UE with a first part of data associated with one or more other UEs, of the two or more UEs, to form multiplexed data; map the multiplexed data to a first set of layers; and map the second part of the data associated with the UE and a second part of the data associated with the one or more other UEs to a second set of layers. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may obtain an indication of a performance-complexity tradeoff parameter value associated with a quantity of iterations and channel orthogonality for an algorithm for a lattice reduction of a first matrix for a downlink communication, a frequency domain granularity for the lattice reduction, and/or a time domain granularity for the lattice reduction. The UE may receive the downlink communication that corresponds to the first matrix and perform the lattice reduction to transfer the first matrix to a second matrix based at least in part on the performance-complexity tradeoff parameter value, the frequency domain granularity, and/or the time domain granularity. The UE may perform multiple-input-multiple-output detection of the downlink communication using the second matrix. Numerous other aspects are described.
