摘要： A plastic film including indicia such as letters and/or a picture thereon is stretched across a continuous elastic circular member to form a planar toy. A player holds the elastic circular member on opposite sides by both hands, twists the elastic circular member into a figure 8 shape, and then folds the elastic circular member into three overlapping portions, which configuration is retained until disturbed. When the folded toy is thrown at an object, the toy opens to the original, flat, circular shape with a frightening sound, while simultaneously displaying the indicia.

摘要： An endless toy track way is described, including a lift device; a rail connected at its ends to the lift device; and a moving body which rolls via gravity on the rail and is lifted by the lift device. The lift device includes a pair of parallel, spaced, fixed stairs and a pair of vertically movable plates formed with engaging steps at their upper edges and being arranged longitudinally inside of the pair of fixed stairs. This pair of vertically movable plates is engaged with cams of a driving mechanism to cause the movable plates to alternately move in circular paths and ascend and descend. The moving body is provided at both lower sides thereof with projections which are engageable with the engaging steps of the vertically movable plates so that the moving body is carried onto succeeding stairs of the fixed stairs, one after the other.

摘要： An amusement device is provided, including a square base having a path formed thereon made substantially of movable projections, each projection including a plurality of plateaus; a first, small figure resembling a human or animal which is manually movable about the path; a plurality of loose members resembling eggs or rocks capable of being temporarily received by the first, small figure; a second, larger figure resembling a dinosaur fixedly attached to the base and having a movable mouth; and an operating mechanism including a push button and being connected between the movable projections and the mouth of the second, large figure for moving the movable projections and the second figure's mouth, when the push button is pushed. When a first figure is located on a projection that is moving while supporting a loose member, the first figure and/or the loose member may be caused to fall off of the projection. Such a result causes a player to return the first figure to the start and to return the loose member to an area near the second figure. The object of the game then is to complete at least one lap around the path with a first figure while the first figure is receiving a loose member.

摘要： A toy is constructed to include two unique linkages with the first linkage including a series of links located in a sequential array with each link pivotally connected to its next immediate adjacent neighbor and every other link operatively connected such that each link can pivot with respect to its neighbor and motion of a link pivotally connected to one side of a link is communicated to the link pivotally connected to the other side of that same link. This allows the linkage to propagate motion along the totality of the sequence in response to movement of any one link. The second linkage includes a first member which is pivotally connected to a rotating crank pin and connected at its upper end to a second lever which is pivotally connected to a body on which the crank pin rotates. A third member formed as a bell crank is pivotally connected at the junction of its arms to the other end of the first member and pivotally connected at the end of one of its arms to a fourth member which is also pivotally connected to the body. Movement of the crank pin causes movement of the first member which is transmitted to the remainder of the members with the lower end of the first member moving in a first small orbit and this motion being communicated to the lower end of the third member to move it in a larger orbit.

摘要： A remote control toy includes a remote housing and a main housing. The remote housing has a transmitter and a signal generator associated with the transmitter. A plurality of function switches govern the signal generator. The transmitter outputs a signal which is encoded by the signal generator to reflect which switch or switches is activated on the remote housing. The main module includes a receiver to receive the signal from the transmitter. The receiver removes the encoded signal and outputs it to a decoder. Depending upon the signal received, the decoder outputs to one or more of its output ports which are connected to appropriate output devices located on the main module. One of these includes a tape drive which carries a tape therein, and which is capable of recording a sequence of control functions transmitted by the remote module to the main module. The tape can be played back at a later time period whereby the main module will output the particular sequence of control functions in response to the record of these functions stored on the tape.
