摘要： An information transmitting apparatus includes a transmitting apparatus for transmitting control information; a receiving apparatus for receiving the control information; a transmission line provided between the transmitting apparatus and the receiving apparatus; and a load which operates in response to the output of the receiving apparatus; wherein the transmitting apparatus transmits the control information through the transmission line to the receiving apparatus within a given time period and the receiving apparatus makes the load operative on the basis of the control information received. The receiving apparatus has a circuit for detecting the reception interval of the transmission information from the transmission line and for generating an abnormality signal when that interval becomes a predetermined time or more.

摘要： The operational status of equipment located at a base station is reported to a remote control terminal. The same audio channel that is used for sending audio signals and control signals to the base station is also used to carry the report signal. The control signals to the base station and the report signals from the base station are encoded tone burst signals. The report signal provides an indication of the proper receipt and execution of a control signal by the base station equipment. Equipment diagnostic signal and periodic checks of equipment performance are also reported by this system.

摘要： A switching circuit for energizing a load, such as fluorescent lamp ballasts, in response to a control signal of preselected frequency superimposed on AC power circuits which supply the load. A triac is gated to conduct the AC power to the load by a circuit including an impedance element and a series resonant LC network tuned to the frequency of the control signal. The gate circuit is arranged to block the control signal during all but a small portion of each half cycle of the applied AC power, thereby reducing the consumption of control signal power.

摘要： A battery powered ultrasonic remote control transmitter for controlling various functions associated with a television receiver, or the like, includes an arrangement for providing an audible indication that the battery voltage has fallen below a desired operating level. In one embodiment, when the battery voltage has fallen below the desired level, the electrical control signal for at least one control function is selectively amplitude modulated by an audio frequency signal before being coupled to the ultrasonic transducer. As a result, when the control function is selected, an operator is given an audible indication that the battery needs recharging or replacement.

摘要： A remote control receiver for processing signals representative of a desired television channel number, each channel number being identified by a control signal lying in a respective band of frequencies. The channel number representative control signals are supplied to a multi-stage counter which is also supplied with regularly recurring timing or clock signals. The clock signals determine counting intervals during which the number of cycles of the received control signal are counted. The counter is arranged to provide frequency divided output signals having binary digits which correspond to a binary coded representation of the channel number.
