摘要： The invention relates to a device for the manufacture of a prefabricated element intended to form at least part of a building. The device comprises at least two relatively movable jigs, which can be relatively fixed so that a mold can be formed in which a building element can be made to include at least two walls at an angle to each other, or a wall and a floor and/or an upper side of a section so that the element bounds at least part of the space of the building. At least one of the jigs is displaceable as a whole and coupled with driving members that displace the jig with respect to the other jig in two relatively opposite directions so that the parts can be moved away from each other or for moving the jigs in their relative manufacturing positions.

摘要： Apparatus for producing modular boxlike units in which a ceiling slab, side walls and in some cases interior partitions are cast together to comprise a first portion of a monolithic structure. The casting mold is characterized by having form portions pivotally mounted on a stationary structure and which are movable relative to the stationary structure between a closed position for casting in which all form portions are in a predetermined aligned relationship and an open position for removing the cast first portion of the monolithic structure from the mold. After the mold is opened, the first portion of the monolithic structure is removed to a floor slab mold, and a floor slab is cast in contact with the side walls and interior partitions to form the completed monolithic structure.

摘要： A retractable core for use with an outer form in producing concrete castings includes a rectangular wall-forming box having a hollow interior and an opening at its bottom to allow access to its interior. The walls of the box are separated symmetrically into four quadrants, and the lines of separation between quadrants are sealed by a compressible elastomer. A retracting mechanism inside the box is connected to each quadrant. In use, concrete is poured over the box, and after the concrete cures, the retracting mechanism pulls each quadrant toward the center of the core to compress the elastomeric seal and thereby shrink the size of the core. The casting is then lifted over the core. Each quadrant is mounted on a separate set of elastically bendable support arms which deflect during retraction of the core and the subsequent return of the core to its initial wall-forming position.

Preferred methods and means for interconnecting vertically and horizontally adjacent modules into structural units of the final building structure before or after removal of said removable hinge joinder means are described.

No. 3,154,888 and to the method of making the same. The form can be adjusted so as to mold different original types of panels, that differ by having different curvature, and/or different size. The form has a base with an adjustable template frame. A thin reinforced base coating is mounted within the template frame. An elastic edge form that is like a gasket, is secured to the template frame with metallic fasteners. The elastic edge form molds a keying groove in the panel edging. The fasteners position reinforcing and clevis connectors that are attached to the reinforcing, to allow like panels to be easily joined with pins at erection, even during inclement weather, the keying grooves allowing the panels to be keyed together with grout when the weather is suitable.
