Abstract:
Disclosed is a measurement device for a vibration device of a concrete-block production plant. The vibration device has a vibrating table and impact strips arranged parallel to each other and parallel to the ground with relation to their longitudinal axes. The measurement device comprises at least one measurement unit for distance. The measurement unit is arranged above the vibrating table and the impact strips, wherein the measurement unit can be guided orthogonally to the impact strips and parallel to the ground using a guide unit. During the guiding process, the measurement unit operates at predefined measuring positions and/or positions determined during the guiding process via the impact strips and the vibrating table, using the measurement unit, the vertical distances from the top sides of the impact strips and/or the vibrating table to reference positions, which result from the heights of the measurement unit at the respective measuring positions, can be determined.

In some embodiment, at least some of the cementitious material particles may adhere to at least some surface deformations on the surface of the closed cell foam particles. In some embodiments, the method may include mixing a second portion of water with the substantially dry composition for a second period of time to form a partially wet composition. In some embodiments, a method may include forming a building form including at least some cementitious materials from the partially wet composition. In some embodiments, the closed cell foam particles may include expanded polystyrene. In some embodiments, a ratio of the water to cementitious material particles may range from 0.20 to 0.40.
Abstract:
Method for manufacturing a measuring apparatus for determining and/or monitoring at least one process variable. At least one sensor element is inserted into an at least partially pot-shaped mold, and the mold is at least partially filled with a casting material composed at least of a first component and a second component. The mold is filled with the casting material, at least partially, with at least the following steps at least one predeterminable amount of the first component of the casting material is charged into the mold; at least one predeterminable amount of the second component of the casting material is charged into the mold; and the mold is vibrated and/or caused to oscillate with a predeterminable frequency. Furthermore, a method for filling an at least partially pot-shaped mold is disclosed.
Abstract:
An improved compacting device for compacting a granular, loosely coherent mass, such as soil-moist cement, for producing end products such as tiles, kerbstones and the like. The compacting device includes a vibrating table and a hydraulic exciter device for driving the vibrating table. The hydraulic exciter device includes a plurality of hydraulic exciters and is configured to drive the hydraulic exciters with excitation displacements of mutually substantially the same amplitude and frequency and in phase with one another. An improved hydraulic exciter for use in the improved compacting device, and the improved compacting device with a single improved exciter of this type are also described.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing engineered stone slabs provides slabs that are equal or superior in appearance and physical properties to slabs manufactured using a conventional Breton press, while weighing less, costing less to manufacture, providing shorter press cycle times, requiring less resin, and consuming less energy. In addition to providing a vibration device above the slab, the press also includes a second vibration device below the slab, which replaces the massive inertial base of a Breton press. The press can be completely enclosed within a vacuum chamber, and vibrationally isolated from surrounding structures. In embodiments, volume reduction blocks reduce the volume to be evacuated. Embodiments use screw jacks and springs or air bags to provide controlled pressing force and precisely uniform slab thickness. Slabs can be inserted and removed on a conveyor belt, or in rigid, self-supporting trays or molds on rollers.
Abstract:
An apparatus for casting a concrete product in a mold, said apparatus comprising a concrete mix container to be moved above the casting mold, a nozzle attached to the mix container bottom for feeding concrete mix from the concrete container in a casting mold, and a vertically movable closing element extending through the concrete mix container in the area of the nozzle, wherein the width of the nozzle in first direction is substantially greater than the width of the nozzle in second direction, which second direction is perpendicular in relation to the said first direction, and said concrete mix container is fixed rotatably around its vertical central axis.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of making a solid cleaning composition. The method can include pressing and/or vibrating a flowable solid of a self-solidifying cleaning composition. For a self-solidifying cleaning composition, pressing and/or vibrating a flowable solid determines the shape and density of the solid but is not required for forming a solid. The method can employ a concrete block machine for pressing and/or vibrating. The present invention also relates to a solid cleaning composition made by the method and to solid cleaning compositions including particles bound together by a binding agent.
Abstract:
A mold system for manufacturing wind turbine blades includes two mold halves shaped for molding respective mold halves. A first mold is supported by a hinge system which is capable of moving the mold from a first position wherein the mold faces upwards to a position wherein the first mold faces the second mold. A final linear displacement of the first mold is carried out by actuators which may be integrated with the first or the second mold. The actuators are engaged with the hinge system so that the first mold is displaceable or the hinge system holding the first mold is displaceable. In both alternatives the actuators merely transfer the load of the first mold to a support via the hinge system.
