摘要: A nanobubble-infused liquid is mixed into a dry concrete mix to form an infused wet concrete, where the nanobubble-infused liquid includes a concentration of nanobubbles of a gas at least double a natural concentration of nanobubbles of the gas within a natural state of the liquid. The nanobubble-infused liquid is preferably liquid water infused with a desired concentration of carbon-dioxide (CO2) nanobubbles sized within a certain prescribed range. The infused wet concrete is then transported to the mold of a concrete products forming machine to form a molded product that has enhanced qualities including increased carbon capture within the resulting concrete product, improved curing times, increased flowability, self-healing, and improved release from the product mold.

摘要: A method for producing microencapsulated fuel pebble fuel more rapidly and with a matrix that engenders added safety attributes. The method includes coating fuel particles with ceramic powder; placing the coated fuel particles in a first die; applying a first current and a first pressure to the first die so as to form a fuel pebble by direct current sintering. The method may further include removing the fuel pebble from the first die and placing the fuel pebble within a bed of non-fueled matrix ceramic in a second die; and applying a second current and a second pressure to the second die so as to form a composite fuel pebble.

摘要: Provided is a building material manufacturing apparatus and a building material manufacturing method that are suitable for efficiently manufacturing a building material while suppressing clogging of a sieve portion for sieving the building raw material. The building material manufacturing apparatus of the present invention includes, for example, a sieve portion 10 and a receiving tool 30. The sieve portion 10 includes a receiving and sending sheet 11 with no sieve openings, onto which the building raw material M is dropped, and at least one sieve sheet 12 with sieve openings that is located below the sheet. The receiving and sending sheet 11 and the sieve sheet 12 can perform undulating motion, are inclined, and are arranged side by side in the inclination direction. The receiving tool 30 is for receiving the building raw material M that has passed through the sieve openings of the sieve portion 10. In the building material manufacturing method of the present invention, for example, in a state in which the receiving and sending sheet 11 and the at least one sieve sheet 12 are performing undulating motion, the building raw material M is dropped onto the receiving and sending sheet 11, moved from the receiving and sending sheet 11 onto the sieve sheet 12, subjected to sieving by the sieve sheet 12, and the portion that passes through the sieve openings of the sieve sheet 12 is accumulated on the receiving tool 30, whereby a mat with at least one layer is formed.

摘要: A filling apparatus for filling a mold volume of a mold with mold material. The filling apparatus comprises a frame, a retention plate mounted to the frame, and a shovel mounted to the frame, the shovel being complementary to the retention plate to define a reservoir for containing the mold material. The shovel is movable relatively the frame to open the reservoir for the mold material to fall onto the mold to fill up the mold volume, to scrape the surface of the mold and thereby to push exceeding mold material over the retention plate, and to abut the retention plate to form the reservoir. The filling apparatus is adapted to refill the reservoir with exceeding mold material once the mold volume is filled with mold material.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a part made of composite material includes injecting into a fibrous texture a slurry including at least one powder of refractory ceramic particles suspended in a liquid phase, filtering the liquid phase of the slurry and retaining the powder of refractory ceramic particles inside the texture so as to obtain a fibrous preform loaded with refractory ceramic particles, densifying the fibrous texture by treatment of the refractory ceramic particles present in the fibrous texture in order to form a refractory matrix in the texture. The method further includes, before injecting the slurry under pressure, pre-saturating the fibrous texture with a carrier fluid consisting in injecting into said texture a carrier fluid.

摘要: An extruder includes a receptacle for containing material to be extruded. The extruder further includes a dispersion blade positioned within the receptacle and a nozzle secured to the receptacle. The nozzle defines a first opening positioned within an interior of the receptacle, defines a second opening positioned outside of the receptacle and defines a channel which extends from the first opening through the nozzle to the second opening defining a flow path which extends from the first opening, through the channel and to the second opening. The nozzle extends through a wall of the receptacle and into the interior of the receptacle such that the first opening is positioned spaced apart from the wall.

摘要: A method for infiltrating a porous preform for a gas turbine engine is provided, which comprises providing a chamber for infiltrating a porous preform. The porous preform is positioned within a slurry confinement fixture within the chamber. A vacuum is created in the chamber. A solvent is added to the slurry confinement fixture until a pressure in the chamber is substantially equal to an equilibrium partial pressure of the solvent. A slurry is added to the slurry confinement fixture. The slurry includes the solvent and a particulate. The pressure in the chamber is increased, and the slurry is urged into the porous preform.
