Abstract:
An apparatus for transmitting signals between UWB networks is disclosed, which comprises: a signal converter for converting received optical signals from another UWB network into UWB signals, transmitting the converted optical signals within a UWB network, and converting UWB signals generated from within the UWB network into optical signals; and an optical signal transmission means for directing the received optical signals the signal converter and a further UWB network.
Abstract:
A level shifter includes an input buffer, a level shifting circuit, a voltage level detecting circuit, an output buffer and a reference logic circuit. The input buffer buffers a small range input signal to output a small range signal. The level shifting circuit transforms the small range signal into a first wide range signal. The voltage level detecting circuit detects whether a power voltage of a low voltage stage is at the ground level, and prevents an indefinite logic state of the level shifter. The output buffer buffers the first wide range signal to output a second wide range signal. The reference logic circuit generates a wide range signal having a predetermined logic status when the power voltage is at the ground level. Thus, a leakage current of the level shifter is reduced.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a wireless communication system using visible light and, more particularly, a short-range wireless communication system using a camera sensor module and a flash module mounted on a wireless terminal. The wireless terminal utilizes an LED and a camera sensor selectively for performing camera functions in a wireless terminal and as interface modules for visible light short-range communication.
Abstract:
A method for measuring the steering angle of steering shaft for vehicle, wherein the steering angle of the steering shaft is measured by using two rotors rotating at a determined RPM ratio according to the rotation of the steering shaft.
Abstract:
A multicast transmission method in GEM mode in Gigabit-capable passive optical network and a method of processing frames. The multicast transmission method includes the steps of: (a) setting a multicast connection; and (b) transmitting multicast messages in a GEM mode, wherein said step (a) includes a first sub step (i), in which predetermined ONTs are registered to a multicast group by means of IGMP frames in the first step, and a second sub step (11), in which an OLT assigns a multicast port ID to the multicast group and the ONTs registered to the multicast group. In addition, step (b) includes a first substep (i), in which the OLT assigns a multicast port ID to a message transmitted from a router to the multicast group, and transmits the message, and a second sub-step (ii), in which an ONT, which belongs to the OLT, filters the message, to which the multicast port ID is assigned, by means of a port ID assigned to the ONT.
