Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a computer-implemented method for object tracking applications, preferably in Bayesian object tracking applications. The method includes the steps of providing a finite element model representing a sensor model of at least one sensor. Further, the method trains said finite element model based on observations, wherein each observation includes an output of the at least one sensor paired with a known state of at least one training object, at the time of the output of the at least one sensor, in an environment sensed by the at least one sensor. Further, the method includes the steps of obtaining signals associated with at least one tracked object in an environment sensed by the at least one sensor. Furthermore, the method determines additional outputs of the at least one sensor based on the obtained signals.

Abstract: The invention relates to a sensor fastener arrangement (10a-f) for holding a sensor device (3). The sensor fastener arrangement (10a-f) comprises a plurality of fastener elements (20a, 20b). The fastener elements (20a, 20b) are configured to arrange the sensor device (3) to a platform (1). Respective fastener element (20a, 20b) is rigid in a first state and reversibly deformable in a second state. When the platform (1) of the sensor device (10a-f), and/or the sensor device (3), is exposed to an impact force, in turn exposing a fastener element (20a, 20b) to a compressive force exceeding a critical load of that fastener element (20a, 20b), the fastener element (20a, 20b) goes from being in the first state to temporarily being in the second state. Thereby the fastener element (20a, 20b) goes from having a first rigid shape to temporarily being reversibly deformed, after which, when the impact force is terminated, the fastener element (20a, 20b) goes from temporarily being in the second state back to being in the first state. Thereby the fastener element (20a, 20b) goes from temporarily being reversibly deformed to having the first rigid shape.

Abstract: A method is provided for determining temperature changes of an optical fibre having Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) patterns provided in at least one portion (Portion 1) of the optical fibre. The optical fibre is connected between a first detector arrangement and a second detector arrangement. Light is emitted into the optical fibre in a first direction from the first detector arrangement, which receives reflections from the FBG patterns of the emitted light. The reflections are processed for determining a current temperature change related to the optical fibre. On the basis of predetermined criteria, light is emitted into the optical fibre in an opposite second, direction from the second detector arrangement. The second detector arrangement receives reflections from the FBG patterns of the light emitted in the second direction and the reflections are processed for determining a current temperature change related to the optical fibre.
