摘要: The invention relates to a sensor fastener arrangement (10a-f) for holding a sensor device (3). The sensor fastener arrangement (10a-f) comprises a plurality of fastener elements (20a, 20b). The fastener elements (20a, 20b) are configured to arrange the sensor device (3) to a platform (1). Respective fastener element (20a, 20b) is rigid in a first state and reversibly deformable in a second state. When the platform (1) of the sensor device (10a-f), and/or the sensor device (3), is exposed to an impact force, in turn exposing a fastener element (20a, 20b) to a compressive force exceeding a critical load of that fastener element (20a, 20b), the fastener element (20a, 20b) goes from being in the first state to temporarily being in the second state. Thereby the fastener element (20a, 20b) goes from having a first rigid shape to temporarily being reversibly deformed, after which, when the impact force is terminated, the fastener element (20a, 20b) goes from temporarily being in the second state back to being in the first state. Thereby the fastener element (20a, 20b) goes from temporarily being reversibly deformed to having the first rigid shape.

摘要: A marine deck member and the process for forming the same. The marine deck member comprises a sandwich-type composite panel made by a compression molding process. In such a process, the panel is made by subjecting a heated stack of layers of material to cold-pressing in a mold. The cellular core has a 2-D array of cells, with end faces open to the respective layers or skins. The surface traction of this type of composite panel can be enhanced for marine deck applications by controlled debossing, or embossing, of the first skin while it cools in the compression mold. The debossing effect can be affected by applying pressurized gas, e.g., pressurized air, onto the outer surface of the first skin while in the compression mold. The embossing can be affected by applying vacuum pressure on the outer surface of the first skin while in the compression mold.

摘要: The invention relates to an armed stealth surface vessel (1) comprising a hull (2), a deck (5, 6) and superstructures (3). The inventive vessel is equipped with sensors, transmitters, arms and, optionally, handling means. The invention is characterized in that the outer casing (4) of the deadworks comprises walls which are all inclined inwards such that the outer faces thereof are oriented upwards and form an angle that is greater than or equal to 20° with the vertical at least above a line located 5 m above the waterline and, along at least 50% of the length of the vessel, above a line located less than one meter above the waterline. The invention is also characterized in that that the essentially-vertical joint lines between two adjacent walls are inclined inwards and form an angle of more than 20° with the vertical. The invention is further characterized in that the sensors and transmitters, the arms and the handling means are concealed or can be concealed in or under the outer casing of the deadworks.

摘要: A method for fabrication of an integral shell-formed body from several elongated panels (1, 2, 3), each of which along one longitudinal edge has a substantially U-formed tongue groove (6) and along the opposite longitudinal edge a tongue element (8) which is at least partly substantially narrower than the groove (6) thereby providing a clamp groove (12) when the tongue (8) is introduced in the tongue groove (6). One or more clamp blocks (13) can be introduced into the tongue groove to press the tongue (8) sideways and preferably also to the bottom of the groove (6). Preferably a layer of settable glue is provided between the groove (6) and the tongue (8), which glue layer is allowed to set after the groove and tongue elements have been clamped together by the clamp blocks (13). The clamp blocks can be formed as G-clips embracing and engaging the groove-tongue joint. The invention also relates to a body or hull structure especially for water and air conveyances made in accordance with the method from a number of elongated panels (44, 49, 50) and providing a closed hull body (41). The panels are preferably of even width and are formed with interacting groove and tongue elements (54, 55). The hull panels (44) are formed according to the intended hull profile and are located at an angle of 90-180 degrees in a polar plane in which the normal hull moving direction is 90 degrees. At the inner side of the hull body (41) the groove and tongue elements (54, 55) provide a rib-like pattern of projecting and reinforcing material portions (53, 55). The hull body may be built free supporting or may be formed with support frames (16), bulkheads or similar transverse members, and the hull panels extend around the entire hull body or the hull body may be divided into two hull portions which are connected by an outer joint plate, for instance, a keel plate (47), a border plate (48), or a stern plate (51). All joints of the hull body are secured by a glue joint, especially using a glue having a high shear strength.

摘要: A small boat or the like comprising a flotation chamber defined at its gunwale by a first member, preferably integral with the sides of the hull extending upwardly and defining a first lip at its terminal end portion, a second member or cover secured at its bottom portion to the hull and extending inwardly of the first member with its upper end portion extending over the first member and including a second lip, and a connecting device resiliently engaging the first and second lips with each other to secure flotation material in the form of a block of expanded polystyrene or the like within the flotation chamber. The connecting device can be a separate element pressing the lips of the first and second members against each other or can be a resilient portion of one of the members normally biasing the lips into engagement. A rub rail is defined at the upper end of the flotation chamber and can be formed either by a separate connecting member or by a portion of one of the other members.

摘要: A composite boat structure comprising a hull and a liner fitting therewithin, wherein the hull and liner are formed primarily of materials having substantially different coefficients of thermal expansion, such as, aluminum and ABS plastic, respectively. The hull and liner are secured to each other by means which permit relative movement between the elements in response to differences in expansion and contraction resulting from temperature differentials.
