Abstract: A display device and a display method using the same are disclosed. The display device includes: a display panel including a first substrate, a second substrate and a liquid crystal prism arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate; and a backlight source configured to emit a light which is incident onto the second substrate at an oblique angle; wherein the liquid crystal prism is configured to adjust a deflection angle of the light emitted from the backlight source traveling between the first substrate and the second substrate such that the light emitted from the backlight source is totally-reflected at a light exit face of the display device or exits from the light exit face of the display device.

Abstract: Provided a display panel and a display device, the display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate opposite to the first substrate, a first light-shielding pattern, a second light-shielding pattern, a first electrode, a second electrode, a liquid crystal layer and a third light-shielding pattern between the two substrates in sequence; the three light-shielding patterns are configured such that light incident on the liquid crystal layer from the first substrate is prevented from exiting from the second substrate in response to an absence of voltage between the two electrodes; the two electrodes and the liquid crystal layer are configured such that the liquid crystal layer serves as an equivalent grating, and a portion of the light incident on the liquid crystal layer from the first substrate is directed to exit from the second substrate in response to the voltage between the two electrodes.

The display device includes a light guide module and a polarization layer, a light direction control section, a reflective layer sequentially disposed on a side of the light guide module. The light guide module includes a first major surface and a second major surface that are opposite to each other, and the first major surface includes first regions for emitting light and second regions, the polarization layer includes polarizers corresponding to the first regions, and the polarizers have a first polarization direction, and the light direction control section is configured to control light direction to adjust a passing amount of the light reflected by the reflective layer in the non-light exiting regions and make the light have a second polarization direction substantially perpendicular to the first polarization direction after passing through the light direction control section.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a three-dimensional display device and a driving method thereof. Under the three-dimensional display mode, a plurality of light emitting areas and a plurality of black areas arranged alternately in row direction and column direction are formed in the electroluminescent display panel, and the light emitting area comprises repeatedly arranged R light emitting areas, G light emitting areas, B light emitting areas and X light emitting areas. Under the three-dimensional display mode, by controlling first sub-pixels corresponding to the same light emitting area for providing gray scale information of different viewpoint images to display different gray scale information, the left and right eyes of a person can receive images with different gray scale information when being located at two viewpoints respectively, so as to generate stereoscopic vision and realize naked eye 3D display in a sub-pixel level.

Abstract: A display substrate is disclosed, including pixel units defined by gate lines and data lines, and a first alignment layer. The first alignment layer includes first alignment grooves arranged in a first direction, the first direction forms a first intersection angle with a positive direction of a first side of each pixel unit, the first intersection angle is an obtuse angle, and the first intersection angle is smaller than an intersection angle between an orientation of liquid crystal molecule in a working state and the positive direction of the first side of each pixel unit. The direction of alignment grooves is decreased, so that the rotation angle of liquid crystal molecule is decreased, which reduces the responsive time of liquid crystal. A method for fabricating a display substrate, a display panel, and a display device are also disclosed.
