摘要: Systems and methods are described for reducing thermal distortion in an optical display for use in a 3D stereoscopic video conferencing system. The thermal distortion can arise from operation of an array of LEDs in a back light unit of the display. Forming cut-outs in the display can interrupt the flow of heat to maintain geometric stability of precision cameras mounted to the display edges while also allowing sufficient heat dissipation paths for the LEDs. Structural reinforcement bars can be added, and an opaque film can be used to block light loss from the LEDs.

摘要: A tiled display device includes tiled display panels arranged in a first direction and a second direction crossing the first direction. Each of the tiled display panels include a display unit outputting a portion of a divided image and a lens array disposed on the display unit to refract the divided image. The tiled display device further includes movement members, or adjusters, connected to respective ones of the tiled display panels, and a processor configured to control the movement members. 摘要: An autostereoscopic display system includes a transmissive display panel including a backlight having an array of backlight pixels, a selectively-selectively-transmissive display pixel matrix having a first side facing the backlight and an opposing second side, the selectively-transmissive display pixel matrix comprising an array of display pixels, a first lenticular array disposed between the backlight and the first side of the selectively-transmissive display pixel matrix, and a second lenticular array disposed facing the second side of the selectively-transmissive display pixel matrix. The backlight is configured to separately activate different subsets of the backlight pixels such that light emitted from an activated subset of backlight pixels and transmitted through the first lenticular array, the selectively-transmissive display pixel matrix, and the second lenticular array is emitted by the display panel as display light in a corresponding separate direction relative to the display panel.

The communication device includes a first controller which determines eye-positions of eyes of a user in at least one direction. The head-up display includes a display panel, an optical element, a reflector. The display panel displays a parallax image. The optical element defines a propagation direction of image light emitted from the parallax image. The reflector reflects the image light whose propagation direction is defined by the optical element. The reflector includes a reflection element and a drive device. The reflection element reflects the image light. The drive device changes at least one of position and posture of the reflection element so that the image light reflected by the reflection element arrives at the eye-positions.
