Abstract: A communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system for supporting higher data rates beyond a 4th-Generation (4G) system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT) are provided. The system and method provides for receiving, from a base station, downlink control information (DCI) including information on a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process number, identifying at least one grant free resource corresponding to the information on the HARQ process number, and releasing the at least one grant free resource based on the information. The disclosure discloses a grant-free based data transmission method in a wireless communication system that may be applied to intelligent services based on the 5G communication technology and the IoT-related technology, such as smart home, smart building, smart city, smart car, connected car, health care, digital education, smart retail, security and safety services.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a channel access method and apparatus in a wireless communication system. In the method according to an embodiment of the disclosure, a user equipment (UE) may receive configuration information related to a beam used in an unlicensed spectrum and configuration information related to transmission of a synchronization signal block from a base station, determine a threshold value used for a channel access procedure based on the configuration information received from the base station, and transmit a signal through the unlicensed spectrum according to whether the unlicensed spectrum is in an idle state, determined based on the determined threshold value.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a communication method and system for converging a 5th-Generation (5G) communication system with a technology for Internet of Things (IoT). Methods and apparatuses are provided in which first sidelink data and second sidelink data are received from one or more terminals. It is determined whether a first resource for transmitting first feedback information for the first sidelink data and a second resource for transmitting second feedback information for the second sidelink data overlap each other. When the first resource and the second resource overlap each other, feedback information corresponding to one of the first feedback information and the second feedback information having a higher priority, is transmitted to the one or more terminals. A priority of each of the first feedback information and the second feedback information is based on sidelink control information scheduling each of the first sidelink data and the second sidelink data.

Abstract: A method for transmitting hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) information by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system is provided. The method includes receiving a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) including information for downlink semi-persistent scheduling (DL SPS) release from a base station and transmitting an uplink channel including HARQ-ACK information for the PDCCH including the information for DL SPS release to the base station, in which a first symbol of the uplink channel is transmitted at least after a processing time (Tproc,3) from when a last symbol of the PDCCH is transmitted, and the processing time is determined based on a smaller value between a subcarrier spacing value of the PDCCH and a subcarrier spacing value of the uplink channel.

Abstract: A method by a terminal in a wireless communication system is provided. Downlink control information including modulation and coding scheme (MCS) information is received from a base station. A number of information bits are identified based on the downlink control information. A transport block size (TBS) is identified based on the number of information bits and a TBS candidate set. The TBS candidate set includes values separated by an interval among a plurality of intervals. Each of the plurality of intervals is a multiple of 8. A first interval between first consecutive values included in the TBS candidate set is larger than a second interval between second consecutive values included in the TBS candidate set. The first consecutive values are greater than or equal to a predetermined value, and the second consecutive values are less than the predetermined value.

The method of the terminal in the wireless communication system includes receiving configuration information for configuring periodic data resources for transmitting or receiving data; receiving an interruption indicator based on an interruption radio network temporary identifier (RNTI); identifying that a part of a resource among the periodic data resources and a resource indicated by the interruption indicator overlap each other; and when the part of the resource among the periodic data resources and the resource indicated by the interruption indicator overlap each other, preventing performance of data transmission or data reception on the resource which includes the overlapped part.
