Abstract: An assembly disposed within a subterranean wellbore can include a first dislodging tool coupled to a bottom end of a tubing string, wherein the first dislodging tool, when enabled at a first time, performs a first action to free at least one service tool, disposed below the first dislodging tool in the subterranean wellbore, from being stuck.

Abstract: A subsurface representation that includes geometry and material properties of subsurface geological formations may be generated. To compute the initial (pre-production) state of stress, gravitational forces and tectonic forces may be applied to the subsurface representation. These loads may result in stress and displacement fields within the subsurface representation. The stress field may be calibrated against available measurements. At this point, the subsurface representation may be reinitialized by resetting the displacements within the subsurface representation while maintaining the stress field.

Abstract: Dimensions of a tool moving in/out of a well may be measured during well operations. The measured dimensions of the tool may be used to analyze the well operations. Analysis of well operations may include identification of types of well operations being performed at the well, monitoring of the well operations, benchmarking of the well operations, identification of tools being used in the well operations, and/or other analysis of the well operations.

Abstract: Based on demand signals from multiple sources, the timing and amount of well tasks, such as material delivery, drilling, and/or waste removal, may be predicted. The well tasks may be organized as card elements on a graphical user interface, with the card elements being arranged based on the sequence in which the well tasks are scheduled. The sequence of the well tasks and the arrangement of the card elements on the graphical user interface may be updated automatically based on real-time data.

Abstract: Methods and systems for calibrating depth in a well to seismic data in a subsurface volume of interest are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: obtain well data corresponding to the well in the subsurface volume of interest; convert the well data to converted well data; obtain a seismic trace and a corresponding wavelet; generate a transform model; apply the transform model to the converted well data to transform the converted well data into transformed well data; apply the corresponding wavelet to the transformed well data to generate a modified signal; generate a correspondence between the modified signal and the seismic trace; repeat one or more steps to select a given modified signal; and calibrate the well data to the seismic trace.

Abstract: A process for shutting down a hydroprocessing reactor and for removing catalyst from the reactor, wherein the reactor includes a quench gas distribution system. The process comprises shutting off hydrocarbon feed to the reactor, stripping hydrocarbons from the catalyst, and cooling the reactor to a first threshold reactor temperature in the range of from 375-425° F. (190-218° C.). At least a portion of circulating gaseous medium flowing to the reactor is then routed through a temporary heat exchanger and cooling the gas to not less than 40° F. (4° C.). Once cooled, mixing the cooled gas with the circulating gaseous medium flowing to the reactor. Continuing steps routing and cooling until a second threshold temperature is reached wherein the reactor temperature is in a range between 120° F. and 250° F. (49° C.-121° C.). The reactor can then be purged with N2 gas, followed by introducing water into the reactor via the quench gas distribution system. The catalyst can then be safely removed from the reactor.

Abstract: Provided herein are liquid polymer (LP) compositions comprising a synthetic (co)polymer (e.g., an acrylamide (co)polymer), as well as methods for preparing aqueous polymer solutions by combining these LP compositions with an aqueous fluid. The resulting aqueous polymer solutions can have a concentration of a synthetic (co)polymer (e.g., an acrylamide (co)polymer) of from 50 to 15,000 ppm, and a filter ratio of 1.5 or less at 15 psi using a 1.2 μm filter. Also provided are methods of using these aqueous polymer solutions in oil and gas operations, including enhanced oil recovery.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and storage media for remote monitoring of a system usable in a subsurface volume of interest are disclosed. Exemplary implementations may: obtain system data for the system usable in the subsurface volume of interest; identify multiple alert times specifying multiple time values corresponding to a time interval where the multiple parameter values exceed a threshold range; generate a representation of the subsurface system using visual effects to depict at least a portion of the system data and at least a portion of the multiple alert times; and display the representation.
