摘要: A method may include obtaining, in real-time with a drilling operation, density data regarding a drilling fluid circulating in a wellbore. The method may further include determining mud velocity data of the drilling fluid in the wellbore based on flow rate data and a borehole area of the wellbore. The method may further include determining a cuttings weight of the drilling fluid in the wellbore based on the density data. The cuttings weight and the mud velocity data may correspond to a respective segment length among various segment lengths of the wellbore. The method may further include determining, based on the cuttings weight, the mud velocity data, and a hole cleaning model, various hole cleaning efficiency (HCE) values for the segment lengths of the wellbore. The method may further include determining whether an HCE value among the HCE values fails to satisfy a predetermined criterion.

摘要: A method for determining a real-time pore pressure log of a well in a reservoir, including the steps: storing existing data logs of surface drilling parameters, logging while drilling (LWD), and mud gas of existing wells in a database, storing existing pore pressure logs of the existing wells in the database, wherein the existing pore pressure logs correspond to the existing data logs, determining a relationship between the existing data logs and the existing pore pressure logs, drilling a new well into the reservoir, determining new data logs of surface drilling parameters, LWD, and mud gas of the new well while drilling the new well, inputting the new data logs of the new well into the relationship while drilling the new well, determining a real-time pore pressure log of the new well by outputting an estimated pore pressure at a certain depth by the relationship while drilling the new well.

摘要: System and method for controlling the drilling of a second wellbore in close proximity to a first well bore. A computer system obtains information regarding a previously drilled wellbore, as well as information regarding a second wellbore being drilled. Using information obtained from one or more magnetic sensors, the computer system determines an optimal target path for continued drilling of the second wellbore and may issue one or more control signals to one or more control systems coupled to a drilling rig to automatically drill in accordance with the selected path. The computer system can generate a plurality of potential paths using one or more cost curves and/or value curves to determine the optimal path for the second wellbore.

摘要: Systems and methods include techniques for predicting hydrocarbon show indicators classifying a presence of hydrocarbons at a pre-determined distance ahead of a drilling bit. Input data is received that identifies, for different depths of a well that is being drilled, a drill bit location, a depth, a weight on bit, rotations per minute, a rate of penetration, lagged lithology percentages, and real-time mud gas logs. Data cleaning is performed on the input data using an isolation forest algorithm to remove outliers. A sequence of attributes for the well being drilled is identified from the input data, where the sequence of attributes includes the input data measured at a sequence of depths in the well. Hydrocarbon show indicators classifying a presence of hydrocarbons at a pre-determined distance ahead of a drilling bit are predicted in real time using machine learning on the sequence of attributes received while drilling the well.

摘要: A drilling control system may access a drilling plan for a borehole comprising one or more of planned path for the borehole, drill string information, mud properties, drill bit properties, formation properties, and drill rig properties. The system may receive a plurality of operating parameters from a rig for the borehole including one or more of an observed toolface, a spindle setting, a rate of penetration, a differential pressure, and a weight-on-bit. The system may receive one or more propagation functions for the borehole determined by a model of the drill string. The system may determine one or more spindle changes or block speed changes based at least in part on the propagation functions and the plurality of operating parameters. The system may generate one or more predicted drill properties from a simulator using the one or more spindle changes or the one or more block speed changes.

摘要: A CPT probe (200) having a cone tip (252) can be inserted into one or more soil layers (110, 112, 114) by a hammer action. The CPT probe (200) has a casing (214) with an internal hammer blow mechanism (225) inside said casing (214) which applies a hammering force on said cone tip (252). The internal hammer blow mechanism is driven by a motor unit (118) which is located either inside the casing (214) or external to the casing (214).

摘要: A curvature cruise controller has been designed to maintain a desired curvature when drilling a curve section of a wellbore. The curvature cruise controller utilizes a model-based controller (such as an LQR controller) to generate steering inputs based on the desired curvature and attitude setpoints and real time measurements. The model-based controller is configured with a wellbore propagation model that characterizes the tool's response dynamics. The curvature cruise controller utilizes real time drilling operation parameters measurements to tune the model-based controller.

摘要: A method for formation pore pressure prediction involves obtaining an input parameter set while drilling a well. The input parameter set includes surface drilling parameters, logging while drilling parameters, and advanced mud gas measurements. The method further involves generating, from the input parameter set, a reduced input parameter set, by eliminating at least one input parameter of the input parameter set that is considered non-relevant for predicting the pore pressure, and predicting the pore pressure by applying a machine learning model to the reduced input parameter set.
