Abstract:
Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer-readable media configured to determine a location of a user, identify the user and provide additional services based on the determined location and/or identity are provided. In some examples, the identity of a customer may be determined based on detection of a signal by a personal computing device of the customer. One or more associate users associated with that customer may be identified and a location of the associate user may be transmitted to the customer user. In other examples, a category of an identified customer may be determined and an associate user equipped to work with that determined category of customer may be identified.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention relate to systems, methods, and computer program products for providing e-receipts to customers. Embodiments receive authorization from a customer for the customer to be enrolled in a point of transaction e-receipt communication program; receive transaction data corresponding to at least one transaction performed by the customer at a point of transaction of a merchant; and initiate communication, to the customer, of an e-receipt based at least in part on the received transaction data. Some embodiments receive authorization from a plurality of enrolling merchants for enrollment in the point of transaction e-receipt communication program; and build a cooperating merchant list comprising information corresponding to a plurality of cooperating merchants cooperating with a financial institution implementing the point of transaction e-receipt communication program.
Abstract:
The present invention includes a system for authenticating a second action based on a first action, wherein the system is configured to: receive a first request to execute a first action associated with a first application; determine that execution of the first action requires user authentication; request one or more authentication credentials from the user; receive a first authentication credential associated with the first action; validate the first authentication credential, thereby resulting in a successful validation of the received first authentication credential; in response to the successful validation, execute the first action; receive a second request to execute a second action associated with a second application; determine that execution of the second action requires user authentication; use the successful validation of the first authentication credential to validate a second authentication credential so that the second action may be executed.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, and a computer program product self-selected user access based on specific authentication types. The system typically including a memory, a processor, and a module configured to receive from a user, a user-selected preference, wherein the user-selected preference comprises one or more authentication types desired by the user; determine a level of authentication from a plurality of levels of authentication are associated with the one or more authentication types associated with the user-selected preference; initiate the presentation of a user interface that enables the user to select one or more application functions, wherein the one or more application functions are associated with the determined level of authentication; receive from a user, a selection of one or more application functions.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems, methods and computer program products for receiving a request from a user for access to at least one function associated with a first application; determining that access to at least one function requires user authentication; initiating sensing of an authentication validating carrier comprising a first credential; determining the first credential based at least in part on the sensed authentication validating carrier; validating the first credential, thereby resulting in a first successful user authentication; and granting access to at least one function associated with the first application based on the validation of the first successful user authentication.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to a system, method, or computer program product for recommending a payment vehicle for a transaction, retroactively. In this way, the invention provides retroactive payment vehicle recommendation after the transaction has occurred based on criteria from customer inputs, customer in-flows, and customer out-flows. In this way, the customer may complete a transaction with a merchant using a temporary line of credit. Subsequently the system may apply the transaction to the determined recommended payment vehicle. Then the temporary line of credit may be terminated.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention relate to systems and methods that enable a user to pre-order products from an internal or external organization. The organization procures the products and/or completes the pre-order, such as completes a payment for the pre-order or finishes the pre-order, based on the location of the user, as determined through the user's mobile device. The order is only completed when the customer location is determined to be within a desired location of the collection point for the pre-order. Preparation of the products pre-ordered by the user commences upon the user location satisfying a predetermined criteria, such as the user being located an approximate distance from a particular location, the user having an approximate arrival time from a particular location, the user located within an electronic geographic fenced area around a particular location, or the user identified as moving with respect to a particular location.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to systems, methods, and computer program products for presenting an offer to a consumer based on account balance information and consumer location information. In some embodiments, a method is provided that includes: (a) receive geographic location information associated with the mobile computing device of the consumer; (b) receive information associated with the credit account of the consumer, wherein the consumer is a holder of the credit account; (c) determine whether the balance value of the credit account has an existing balance value greater than zero; and (d) present, via the mobile computing device of the consumer, the offer to the consumer based at least in part on determining that the geographic location of the mobile device of the consumer is proximate to or coincident with a location of the merchant and determining that the existing balance value of the credit account associated with the merchant is greater than zero.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems, methods and computer program products for providing offers to one or more customers associated with a federated network of retailers. Embodiments determine that one or more customers associated with the federated network of retailers are in proximity to a retailer physical location associated with a retailer that is a member of the federated network of retailers; and present an offer to one or more of the federated network customers in proximity to the retailer. In some embodiments, determining comprises recognizing a mobile device is associated with a customer of at least one retailer that is a member of the federated network of retailers. Some embodiments determine that a customer in proximity to the location is not a customer of the retailer associated with the location and is a customer associated with the network; and present the offer based on the determination.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to systems, methods, and computer program products for determining an offer based on a balance value of a prepaid account and a location of a consumer who is the holder of the prepaid account. In some embodiments, a method is provided that includes: (a) receiving geographic location information associated with a consumer; (b) receiving information associated with the prepaid account of the consumer, wherein the consumer is a holder of the prepaid account; (c) determining a balance value of the prepaid account of the consumer; and (d) determining an offer to present to the consumer based at least partially on the balance value of the prepaid account and the location of the consumer.
