    摘要: A lithographic printing plate precursor for ultraviolet ray exposure comprising a support having provided thereon a light-sensitive layer containing fine anatase-type titanium oxide grains and a resin having a siloxane bond represented by the following formula (I): wherein A and B, which may be the same or different, each represents —O—, a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group or a heterocyclic group. The lithographic printing plate precursor can provide a lithographic printing plate only by imagewise exposure to ultraviolet ray without undergoing any wet process, for example, desensitizing treatment, sensitizing treatment or alkaline processing. A method for the preparation of a lithographic printing plate using the lithographic printing plate precursor is also disclosed.

    摘要: An oil-based ink for a printing plate by an ink jet process comprising spraying an oil-based ink comprising at least resin particles dispersed in a nonaqueous carrier liquid on an image receiving layer of a lithographic printing plate precursor dropwise from a nozzle to form an image, and then desensitizing a non-image area of the image receiving layer by a chemical reaction to prepare a lithographic printing plate, the image receiving layer being formed on a water-resistant support and comprising zinc oxide and a binding resin, wherein the resin particles dispersed are polymer particles obtained by polymerization granulation of a solution comprising (i), (ii) and (iii): (i) at least one monofunctional monomer (A) which is soluble in a nonaqueous solvent which is at least miscible with the nonaqueous carrier liquid and becomes insoluble therein by polymerization; (ii) (ii-a) at least one monomer (B) represented which is copolymerizable with the monomer (A), or (ii-b) at least one monofunctional macromonomer (MA) obtained by combining a polymerizable double bond group with only one end of a main chain of a polymer comprising a repeating unit corresponding to a monomer; and (iii) at least one resin for dispersion stabilization (P) which is a polymer comprising a repeating unit, wherein the polymer is crosslinked at a part of its main chain thereof, and the resin (P) is soluble in the nonaqueous solvent.

    摘要: A method for preparation of a waterless lithographic printing plate by an electrophotographic process comprising providing a peelable transfer layer (T) containing a thermoplastic resin (A) on a surface of an electrophotographic light-sensitive element, forming a non-fixing toner image by an electrophotographic process using a liquid developer on the transfer layer, transferring the toner image together with the transfer layer (T) from the electrophotographic light-sensitive element onto a support for lithographic printing plate, providing on the transfer layer (T) a non-tacky resin layer having adhesion to the transfer layer (T) 180 gram-force larger than adhesion between the toner image and a surface of the support for lithographic printing plate, and selectively removing the non-tacky resin layer and the transfer layer (T) existing on the toner image.The method is suitable for a scanning exposure system using a laser beam of a low power, and simply and rapidly provides a waterless lithographic printing plate excellent in image qualities and printing durability.
