In some aspects, a user equipment may transmit, in a first part of two-part channel state information (CSI), a rank indication (RI) and an indication of one or more numbers of first transfer domain coefficients to be used to characterize compressed CSI for one or more layers; and transmit, in a second part of the two-part CSI, an indication of one or more numbers of second transfer domain coefficients to be used to characterize compressed CSI for one or more beams for the one or more layers. Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station (BS), a first signaling communication that configures a plurality of transmit precoder matrix indicator (TPMI) and sounding reference signal (SRS) resource indicator (SRI) pairs. The plurality of TPMI and SRI pairs may be for transmitting respective physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) communications to the BS. The UE may receive, from the BS, a second signaling communication that indicates an update to a TPMI and SRI pair of the plurality of TPMI and SRI pairs. The UE may transmit, to the BS, a PUSCH communication, of the respective PUSCH communications, based at least in part on the update to the TPMI and SRI pair. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) may utilize frequency domain (FD) compression for reporting channel state information (CSI) including a precoding matrix indicator (PMI). The UE may receive a CSI configuration specifying a first set of configured FD units to be reported. The UE may determine a first number of FD units based on the first set of configured FD units. The UE may select a second number of FD units that is greater than or equal to the first number of FD units. The UE may calculate, for one or more layers, a PMI for a second set of FD units including a number of FD units equal to the second number of FD units. The UE may allocate, according to a mapping rule, a number of PMIs for the first set of FD units to a subset of the PMIs for the second set of FD units.

One technique includes receiving sounding reference signal (SRS) resource(s) from a user equipment (UE), where each SRS resource is associated with one or more precoded ports. At least one of a transmission rank or a set of precoders is determined based on the SRS resource(s). An indication of at least one of the SRS resource(s) is signaled to the UE. In certain aspects, a method includes receiving a rate matching resource (RMR) configuration from a serving cell. The method also includes identifying one or more first resource elements (REs) to be rate matched around at least in part based on a transmission numerology associated with the RMR configuration, wherein the one or more first REs are used for reference signal (RS) transmission in the serving cell or a neighboring cell. The method further includes mapping a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) to one or more second REs not including the first REs.
