    Abstract: Aspects presented herein improve congestion control mechanism for UEs with multiple TRPs, where at least one of the SL RSSI measurement, the CBR measurement, the CR evaluation and/or the congestion control mechanism for the UE is optimized. In one aspect, the apparatus evaluates a CR for each TRP of a plurality of TRPs at the UE. The apparatus determines whether the UE is allowed to transmit on one or more of the TRPs of the plurality of TRPs based at least on the evaluated CR for each TRP of the plurality of TRPs and on at least one CR limit. The apparatus transmits on at least one TRP of the one or more of the TRPs based on the determination whether to transmit on the one or more TRPs.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless positioning. In an aspect, a road-side unit (RSU) may join a first sidelink (SL) ranging session between a first user equipment (UE) and a second UE. The RSU may perform SL ranging with the first UE to determine first ranging information comprising at least a RTT to the first UE. The RSU may perform SL ranging with the second UE to determine second ranging information comprising at least a RTT to the second UE. The RSU may send the first ranging information and the second ranging information to at least one of the first UE or the second UE, or calculate a range between the first UE and the second UE based on the first ranging information and the second ranging information, and send the range to at least one of the first UE and the second UE.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for sidelink communications in an unlicensed spectrum. A method that may be performed by a first device includes sensing that an unlicensed frequency band is idle, the unlicensed frequency band consisting of a plurality of subchannels. The method also includes, in response to sensing that the unlicensed frequency band is idle, transmitting, by the first device, at least one of a data signal or a reservation signal during an entire duration of a time period over one or more subchannels of the plurality of subchannels, the at least one of the data signal or the reservation signal reserving the unlicensed frequency band during the time period.
