摘要： A method for identifying traffic information includes receiving traffic data including a first identifier, an amount of time currently taken to traverse a particular link, and information corresponding to a location associated with the particular link. The first identifier enables a determination of a type of the information that is included within the received traffic data. The method also includes determining a type of information included within the received traffic data based on the first identifier and determining current travel time information based on the information included in the received traffic data only if the first identifier enables a determination that the received traffic data includes an amount of time. The method further includes determining location information based on the information that is included in the received traffic data corresponding to the location associated with the particular link and identifying traffic information based on the determined current travel time information and the determined location information.

摘要： Methods and system for transmitting a DVB-H network ID in transmission parameter signaling (TPS) data are described. A sixteen bit DVB-H network ID may be divided into four four-bit portions, and each four-bit portion may be included in an orthogonal frequency division multiplex (OFDM) TPS frame transmitted by the DVB-H network. Because each OFDM TPS frame also includes a frame order of that frame within its corresponding super-frame, a receiver of the TPS data can reassemble the network ID by ordering the four received portions according to the frame order of the respective OFDM TPS frames in which they were received. The sixteen bit DVB-H network ID may alternatively be divided into two eight-bit portions, and each eight-bit portion may be included in the cell_ID bits of two frames of a super-frame.

Further, the data screening unit stores in the storage unit, among all regional information received by the receiving unit, such regional information that does not correspond to the ID code included in the regional information corresponding to the screening signal and already stored in the storage unit.

摘要： The present invention relates to extend metadata for providing a digital broadcast program service to diverse kinds of terminals, and a system and method for providing an adaptive program service to the terminals by using the extended metadata. The system and method performs integrated management of resource information suitable for a combination of all (terminal, program and user) conditions of the personal terminal, manages resource-related information separately from temporal/spatial location information, and thus provides an adaptive program service by using extended metadata and recomposing an adaptive scene for a personal terminal so as to provide the digital broadcast service adaptively to diverse terminal environments on a home network. The extended metadata include: segmentation metadata including description information on a significant segment that forms the broadcast program; and resource description metadata including description information on lower composition resources of the segment in order to provide a broadcast program to the diverse kinds of terminals.

The radio filter characteristics may include criteria such as musical genre, song title, artist information, or server source, to name just a few.
