摘要： A trailer stabilizing device for stabilizing a parked freight trailer comprising a frame having mounted thereto at least a right side wheel and a left side wheel, the frame also including a hitch, a fifth wheel, and at least one of a repositionable wheel chock and a repositionable hook, the trailer stabilizing device further including a repositioning device in order to reposition at least one of the repositionable wheel chock and the repositionable hook. The present disclosure also includes a method of stabilizing a parked trailer at a loading dock, the method comprising: (a) positioning a wheeled trailer stabilizer underneath a parked freight trailer at a loading dock while landing gear of the parked freight trailer are deployed and a kingpin of the parked trailer is accessible; (b) securing the kingpin of the parked freight trailer to a fifth wheel of the wheeled trailer stabilizer; and, (c) deploying a repositionable hook operatively coupled to the frame of the wheeled trailer stabilizer so the repositionable hook couples to a cleat mounted to the ground, where deployment of the hook is operative to exert a pulling force on the kingpin.

摘要： The invention provide an improved trailer dolly and an improved trailer dolly tongue support jack. More specifically, the invention provides a trailer dolly which includes a tongue support jack which is effective and convenient to operate. In the preferred embodiment, the improved dolly includes a tongue support assembly permits the dolly tongue jack to be rotated between and automatically locked in the tongue support positions and the trailer use positions. Although the tongue jack was developed primarily for use with trailer dollys it can be used to support conventional trailer tongues and similar uses.

摘要： A dolly including a frame and a pair of ground engaging wheels is detachably connected to the rear of an over-the-road vehicle, such as a truck-mounted mobile crane. For over-the-road transportation a portion of the load normally carried on the vehicle rear wheels is transferred to the dolly wheels by one or more fluid-actuated cylinder rams. The rams extend from the frame and bear against a fixed member on the vehicle chassis and, when actuated, exert a downward pressure onto the dolly wheels via the frame. The rams are supported on a swivel assembly, which is detachably connected to the vehicle chassis, so that the dolly can pivot vertically and horizontally relative to the vehicle chassis during travel.
