    Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for lossless coding for visual media coding are described. An exemplary method for video processing includes determining, based on a current video block of a video satisfying a dimension constraint, that coding modes are enabled for representing the current video block in a bitstream representation, where the dimension constraint states that a same set of allowed dimensions for the current video block is disabled for the coding modes, and where, for an encoding operation, the coding modes represent the current video block in the bitstream representation without using a transform operation, or where, for a decoding operation, the coding modes are used to obtain the current video block without using an inverse transform operation; and performing a conversion between the current video block and the bitstream representation of the video based on one of the coding modes.

    Abstract: Systems, methods and apparatus for video processing are described. The video processing may include video encoding, video decoding, or video transcoding. One example method of video processing includes performing a conversion between a video comprising one or more pictures comprising one or more slices and a bitstream of the video. The bitstream conforms to a predefined order between a position of a first NAL (network abstraction layer) unit in a picture unit carrying an adaptation parameter set information and a second NAL unit that is a last video coding layer (VCL) NAL unit in the picture unit.

One example video processing method includes performing a conversion between a video including a video block and a bitstream of the video according to a rule, wherein the rule specifies whether to include, in a slice header (SH), a first syntax element that indicates whether a transform skip based residual coding is disabled for a slice, and wherein the rule specifies that whether to include the first syntax element in the SH is selectively based on a second syntax element in a sequence parameter set (SPS) that indicates whether a TS mode is enabled for the video block.

    Abstract: A video processing method is provided to include: performing a conversion between a current video block of a video and a coded representation of the video, wherein the performing of the conversion includes configuring, based on a characteristic of the current video block of a video, a context model for coding a bin or bypass coding the bin of a bin string corresponding to an index of a secondary transform tool, wherein the index indicates an applicability of the secondary transform tool and/or a kernel information of the secondary transform tool, and wherein the secondary transform tool includes applying, during encoding, a forward secondary transform to an output of a forward primary transform applied to a residual of a video block prior to quantization, or wherein the secondary transform tool includes applying, during decoding, an inverse secondary transform to an output of dequantization to the video block before applying an inverse primary transform.
