Abstract: A force detection apparatus includes: a force detector that includes an electrode and a conductor facing the electrode across a first and a second layers and outputs a force signal value before correction; and a force detection controller outputting a force signal value after correction having a linear relationship with a force. In a first range of force in which the first layer is deformed and the second layer is not deformed, the force detection controller calculates the force signal value after correction, based on a product of the force and a first constant. In a second range of force in which the first and second layers are deformed, the force detection controller calculates the force signal value after correction, based on a sum of a product of a threshold and the first constant and a product of a difference between the force and the threshold and a second constant.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a sensor-equipped display device includes a display panel, a detection electrode, a conductive member arranged at intervals from the display panel and the detection electrode, and controller. In a first sense period, the controller drives a common electrode of the display panel or the detection electrode and extracts input position data from the detection electrode. In a second sense period, the controller drives the conductive member and extracts first input pressure data from a first electrode, the controller drives a second electrode and extracts second input pressure data from the conductive member, or the controller drives a third electrode and extracts third input pressure data from the third electrode.

Abstract: A display device with a touch detection function including: a plurality of elements performing display operation; a plurality of touch detection electrodes arranged side by side to extend in one direction, and each outputting a detection signal based on a change in an electrostatic capacitance caused by an external proximity object; a conductive film insulated from or connected with high resistance to the touch detection electrodes, and disposed to cover the touch detection electrodes; and a touch detection circuit detecting the external proximity object by sampling the detection signal. The conductive film has a sheet resistance equal to or smaller than a predetermined resistance value, and has a time constant larger than a predetermined minimum time constant defined by sampling timings in the touch detection circuit.

Abstract: A display device includes a substrate, a plurality of pixel electrodes, a switching element, and a first electrode. The substrate has a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The pixel electrodes are provided to the first surface side and supplied with a pixel signal for displaying an image. The switching element is provided to the first surface side and coupled to the pixel electrodes. The first electrode is provided to a layer closer to the first surface than the switching element in a manner facing the switching element in a direction perpendicular to the first surface of the substrate and having lower light transmittance than that of the substrate.
