Abstract: A touch panel, a display panel, and a display unit achieving prevention of erroneous detection caused by external noise. The touch panel includes: a plurality of detection scan electrodes extending in a first direction and a plurality of detection electrodes facing the plurality of detection scan electrodes and extending in a second direction which intersects the first direction. The one or more selected detection scan electrodes are selected, in a desired unit, from the plurality of detection scan electrodes, to be supplied with a selection pulse, and each of the first and the second detection electrodes is selected from the plurality of detection electrodes.

Abstract: A touch panel, a display panel, and a display unit achieving prevention of erroneous detection caused by external noise. The touch panel includes: a plurality of detection scan electrodes extending in a first direction and a plurality of detection electrodes facing the plurality of detection scan electrodes and extending in a second direction which intersects the first direction. A ratio of fringe capacitance to total capacitance between one or more selected detection scan electrodes and a first detection electrode is different from a ratio of fringe capacitance to total capacitance between the one or more selected detection scan electrodes and a second detection electrode. The one or more selected detection scan electrodes are selected, in a desired unit, from the plurality of detection scan electrodes, to be supplied with a selection pulse, and each of the first and the second detection electrodes is selected from the plurality of detection electrodes.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes first electrodes overlapping a display area, a cover base covering the display area and a frame area, a second electrode arranged in the cover base and overlapping the frame area, a touch detection driver configured to output a drive signal to the second electrode, and a level shifter arranged between the second electrode and the touch detection driver, and configured to increase a signal level of the drive signal and output the drive signal having the increased signal level to the second electrode. The touch detection driver is configured to detect contact or proximity to an object with the frame area based on electrostatic capacitance between the first electrodes and the second electrode.

Abstract: A display device includes a substrate, first electrodes, second electrodes, and a driver. Abstract: A performance of a display device having an input device is improved. A display device includes: an electro-optical layer; a first driving electrode and a second driving electrode which drives the electro-optical layer; a driver chip which outputs a video signal; a switch circuit which is arranged outside the driver chip, which selects a potential to be supplied to the second driving electrode, and which includes a first switch element and a second switch element; a shift register circuit connected to the switch circuit; and a detection circuit which detects that an object is close or in contact. Each of the first switch element and the second switch element is selectively turned ON or OFF by the shift register circuit. The detection circuit is electrically connected to the first switch element and the second switch element.
