Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. The methods, systems, and devices may enable a user equipment (UE) to receive a sounding reference signal (SRS) configuration message that indicates one or more first reference signals from a first node or one or more SRS transmission beams associated with the first node and one or more second reference signals from a second node. The UE may determine an SRS transmission beam for transmitting an SRS signal based on a procedure for determining SRS transmission beams and the one or more reference signals from the first and second nodes. The UE may transmit the SRS signal using the SRS transmission beam.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a sounding reference signal (SRS) that indicates that the UE is configured with a quantity of receive elements that is greater relative to a quantity of transmit elements with which the UE is configured. The UE may receive, based at least in part on transmitting the SRS, a first channel state information (CSI) reference signal (CSI-RS) set and a second CSI-RS set. The UE may transmit a CSI report that is based at least in part on the first CSI-RS set and the second CSI-RS set. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described for enabling a network equipment to reduce interference for downlink (DL) transmissions to a first device by determining a transmit precoding matrix indicator (TPMI) for uplink (UL) transmissions transmitted by a second device based on feedback from the first device. The first device may determine a subset of possible TPMIs that the second device may use for UL transmissions for full-duplex communications. The first device may indicate the subset to the network equipment. Based on the subset indicated by the first device, the network equipment may determine a pairing of the first device and the second device for full-duplex communications. Additionally, the network equipment may determine a TPMI for the second device to use in UL transmissions and indicate the TPMI to the second device.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for scheduling hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback and controlling the transmit power of the HARQ feedback. An example method generally includes generating a configuration for physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource sets assigned to at least one user equipment (UE), wherein each of the PUCCH resources sets comprises PUCCH resources, transmitting the configuration for the PUCCH resource sets to the at least one UE, generating an uplink control reporting indication indicating the PUCCH resources associated with downlink demodulation reference signal (DMRS) port groups, transmitting the uplink control reporting indication, to the at least one UE, for use in reporting uplink control information (UCI), and receiving at least a part of the UCI associated with at least one of the downlink DMRS port groups from the at least one UE via the PUCCH resources indicated in the uplink control reporting indication.

Abstract: Methods, systems, devices, and apparatuses for wireless communications that support transmission diversity enhancement for uplink control channel are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for enhanced performance of an uplink control channel such as a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) through the use of transmission diversity. In some cases, multiple input multiple output (MIMO) techniques may be supported for transmission of an uplink control channel for a given format suitable for transmission diversity enhancement. A resource block (RB) used in an uplink control channel transmission may contain a number of resource elements (REs) across one or more resource blocks. According to some aspects, a transmit diversity scheme may be employed at the RE level through application of different spatial precoders for different groups of REs of a given RB.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for multiplexing uplink control information (UCI) on physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources for non-ideal backhaul based multi-transmission/reception point non-coherent joint transmissions. An example method generally includes determining that a first set of physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resources configured for reporting channel state information (CSI) overlaps with a second set of PUCCH resources indicated for reporting hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback, wherein the first and second sets of PUCCH resources are associated with downlink demodulation reference signal (DMRS) port groups, generating CSI reports and HARQ feedback associated with at least one of the downlink DMRS port groups, and transmitting the CSI reports and the HARQ feedback, multiplexed using the second set of PUCCH resources

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for a basis report for compressed channel state information (CSI) feedback with a non-contiguous subband configuration. A method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a CSI report configuration configuring the UE for reporting precoding matrix information including, a plurality of selected beams, a frequency domain compression matrix for each of the beams at each of a plurality of taps in the time domain, and a subset of a plurality of linear combination coefficients associated with the frequency domain compression matrices and beams. The UE receives a configuration of non-contiguous frequency resources for CSI reporting. The UE may perform frequency domain compression of the precoding matrix information using a truncated frequency domain compression matrix or performing separate frequency domain compression of the precoding matrix information for each set of contiguous frequency resources.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for a coefficients report for compressed channel state information (CSI) feedback. A method for wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a CSI report configuration configuring the UE for reporting precoding matrix information including, a plurality of selected beams L, a frequency domain compression matrix F for each of the L beams at each of a plurality of taps M in the time domain, and a subset of a plurality of linear combination coefficients associated with the frequency domain compression matrices and beams. The UE determines the coefficients based on a first evaluation that is, for each beam, an evaluation of the amplitude of the coefficients across the taps, and a second evaluation and a evaluation that is, for each tap, an evaluation of the amplitude of the linear combination coefficients across the beams. The UE reports the first and second evaluations.
