摘要: An HF resonator assembly generates at least two independent alternating magnetic fields in a test volume of a magnetic resonance apparatus. The HF resonator assembly includes a first pair of flat coils that form a first HF resonator and comprise electrical conductor portions that surround a planar surface portion. The flat coils are arranged on opposing sides of the test volume, on coil support plates that are mutually parallel and in parallel with the longitudinal axis. A second pair of flat coils forms a second HF resonator on second coil support plates. The projections of the planar surface portions of the flat coils in each of the first pair of flat coils and the second pair of flat coils overlap in part, but not completely, when viewed in a direction perpendicular to the respective planar surface portions.

摘要: A PET-MRI system for imaging an object is provided. The PET-MRI system includes a magnetic resonance imaging sub-system, a positron emission tomography sub-system, an optical sensor, and a data processing controller. The magnetic resonance imaging sub-system includes a surface coil that acquires magnetic resonance signals from the object. The positron emission tomography sub-system acquires PET emissions from the object. The optical sensor detects at least one of a spatial location and a shape of the surface coil. The data processing controller communicates with the magnetic resonance imaging sub-system, the positron emission tomography sub-system, and the optical sensor, and utilizes at least one of the detected spatial location and the detected shape of the surface coil to correct the acquired PET emissions for attenuation.

摘要: A patch resonator for nuclear magnetic resonance device includes a ground plane, a conductive element, a dielectric element positioned between the ground plane and the conductive element, the resonator being able to transmit a circularly polarized radiofrequency signal when the resonator is supplied by a first transmission line connected to the conductive element via a first connection point and able to receive alternatively a radiofrequency signal circularly polarized in the opposite direction when the resonator is connected to a second transmission line via a second connection point, the resonator including a switch mounted in parallel on each transmission line at a distance from the ground plane corresponding to (2n+1)λ/4 with n a natural integer, and λ the wavelength of the guided wave in the transmission line at the operating frequency of the resonator, the switch making it possible to electrically connect/disconnect the transmission lines from the conductive element.

摘要: A transmitting device and a method for transmitting two high frequency signals for a magnetic resonance tomograph are provided. The transmitting device includes a shielded balanced transmission line, a first signal driver, and a second signal driver. The first signal driver and the second signal driver feed the first high frequency signal to a first conductor and the second high frequency signal to a second conductor of the balanced transmission line. A shielding of the balanced transmission line has an electrical connection to a common ground potential for the first signal driver and the second signal driver.

The coil holder is supported during the magnetic resonance-based examination steps by at least one mounting, into which a supporting section of the coil holder engages and/or which engages into the supporting section of the coil holder.
