摘要: A system and method of specular reflection detection and reduction includes a processing unit including one or more processors and an imaging unit coupled to the processing unit. The imaging unit includes one or more first illuminators for providing illumination of a region of interest, one or more first detectors for detecting reflections of the illumination, one or more second illuminators for triggering fluorescing of one or more fluorescent materials in the region of interest, and one or more second detectors for detecting the fluorescing of the fluorescent materials. The processing unit is configured to receive a first image from the first detectors, determine one or more regions of high specular reflection in the first image, mask out the regions of high specular reflection in the first image, and generate a composite image based on the masked first image and the detected fluorescence. The first image includes the detected reflections.

摘要: A detection device for fusion of tactile sensing and optical tomography includes a handheld probe, a controller for performing signal control and data acquisition on the handheld probe and communicating with a computer, and the computer for performing data analysis and image reconstruction and display on controller information. The handheld probe includes a probe front cover. A tactile sensor, a probe base, and a photoelectric sensor module disposed in sequence are sandwiched between a first probe side cover and a second probe side cover matching the probe front cover. An optical fiber connected to the photoelectric sensor module is interposed between the first probe side cover and the second probe side cover. A detection method based on the detection device comprises detecting tumors inside biological tissue, and detecting physical changes (i.e. local hardness) of the tissue and functional changes (i.e. blood supply distribution) of the tissue.

摘要: The present invention relates to a portable probe for photoacoustic tomography, capable of performing line-by-line scanning or area-by-area scanning by using a small number of light inputs; and a real-time photoacoustic tomography device. The probe for photoacoustic tomography includes: a lens receiving light inputs from an optical fiber so as to make the same proceed as small diameter parallel light; a Powell lens receiving the small diameter parallel light and generating a line beam of a predetermined thickness, and allowing energy dispersed on a line to be uniform on the entire line; a lens making the line beam pass therethrough such that the line beam has a predetermined width and a reduced thickness so as to be line-focused at a target area; an acoustic reflection glass for separating, from a light path, an acoustic wave outputted from the target area; and an acoustic measurement unit for measuring acoustic strength.

摘要: An imaging system includes an illuminator for providing illumination on a region of interest, one or more first detectors for detecting reflections of the illumination, and a processing unit. The processing unit is configured to: receive a first image containing the region of interest; determine a first region of high specular reflection in the first image based on the reflections of the illumination on the region of interest; mask the first image by substituting a default color designating masking to alert a user to incomplete image information in the first region of high specular reflection to create a masked first image; and generate a composite image based on the masked first image and a fluorescence image of the region of interest.

A method includes actuating an emitter to emit a plurality of pulses of electromagnetic radiation and sensing reflected electromagnetic radiation resulting from the plurality of pulses of electromagnetic radiation with a pixel array of an image sensor to generate a plurality of exposure frames. The method includes applying edge enhancement to edges within an exposure frame of the plurality of exposure frames. The method is such that at least a portion of the plurality of pulses of electromagnetic radiation emitted by the emitter comprises one or more of electromagnetic radiation having a wavelength from about 513 nm to about 545 nm, from about 565 nm to about 585 nm, or from about 900 nm to about 1000 nm.

摘要: A method to automatically align magnetic resonance (MR) scans for diagnostic scan planning includes acquiring a three-dimensional (3D) localizer image of an anatomical object. One or more initial landmarks are identified in the 3D localizer image using a landmarking engine. One or more main axes associated with the anatomical object are identified based on the one or more initial landmarks. The 3D localizer image is registered to a canonical space based on the main axes associated to yield a registered 3D localizer image. The landmarking engine is applied to the registered 3D localizer image to yield one or more updated landmarks. A plurality of reference points for performing a MR scan are computed based on the one or more updated landmarks.
