摘要: A method for patient table positioning using a patient table of a magnetic resonance device that is movable within a patient receiving area, wherein the patient table has at least two degrees of freedom with respect to its movement within the patient receiving area. Initially, the patient table is positioned within the patient receiving area in a first patient table position and first magnetic resonance data from the patient is captured. The first magnetic resonance data is used to determine a position of a region of interest and to ascertain a second patient table position, wherein in the second patient table position, the region of interest has a minimum possible distance from an isocenter. This is followed by positioning in the second patient table position, wherein at least two degrees of freedom are available to the patient table for movement into the at least one second patient table position.

摘要: A method for determination of an indicator representative of a change in the brain caused by a demyelinating disease, the method including, for each region of interest of the brain, determining a regional coefficient of one of the following diffusion coefficients: the radial diffusion, the axial diffusion, the mean diffusion, the anisotropy fraction, or a combination of several of these coefficients, the regional coefficients being determined from a diffusion MRI image; determining a number of changed regions, for which a condition relating to the value of the regional diffusion coefficient of each region is satisfied; and determining the indicator in accordance with the number of changed regions.

摘要: Prostheses and methods are described for stabilizing dysfunctional sacroiliac (SI) joints. The prostheses are sized and configured to be press-fit into surgically created pilot SI joint openings in dysfunctional SI joint structures. The prostheses have a pontoon shape with opposed elongated partially cylindrical sections connected by a bridge section. The bridge section can have various shapes, such as an offset, arched structure, to accommodate the delivery and/or positioning of a primary or supplemental support member or device between the first and second elongated sections, such as a sacral-alar iliac (S2AI) screw or surgical dowel member.

摘要: Prostheses are described for stabilizing dysfunctional sacroiliac (SI) joints. The prostheses are sized and configured to be press-fit into surgically created pilot SI joint openings in dysfunctional SI joint structures. The prostheses include a fixation composition that is adapted to transition from a flowable state, wherein the fixation composition flows into spaces between the prostheses and the dysfunctional SI joint structures when the prostheses are implanted in a dysfunctional SI joint, to a solid elastomer state upon application of radiation energy, wherein the fixation composition forms a positive fit connection by and between the prostheses and the dysfunctional SI joint structures.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a method for discriminating sacroiliitis by using sacroiliac joint MR images, implemented by one or more processors of a computing device, the method comprising the steps of: collecting MR images related to the sacroiliac joint and preprocessing the collected MR images to generate training data; training a bone marrow edema discrimination model by using the generated training data; and using the trained bone marrow edema discrimination model to determine the presence of sacroiliitis from MR images related to the patient's sacroiliac joint.
