Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention provides a capacitor, including a solid electrode, an electrode broken into subsections with a signal bus lines connecting the subsections; and wherein the signal bus further connects the solid electrode with the electrode broken into subsections.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cost-effective and environmentally friendly polymeric defoamer formulation for use in various industrial applications that does not contain oil, EBS or free silicone.
Abstract:
A linear bolt mechanism for a gun is provided, wherein a bolt moves between a firing position and an open position through linear motion, without requiring rotation of the bolt. The bolt includes a seating socket which engages a locking pin to permit travel of the bolt upon disposing the locking pin in a traveling position. The seating socket also engages the locking pin when the locking pin engages the locking socket, thereby precluding movement of the bolt with the locking pin in the locking position.
Abstract:
An apparatus for making and dispensing frozen aerated products includes a rotating horizontal freeze plate with an upper surface for receiving a chilled aerated mix. The chilled aerated mix includes, in one embodiment, ice cream base that has been sufficiently aerated, and flavor. The horizontal freeze plate rotates about its central axis. The apparatus also includes a spreader body for distributing the chilled aerated mix on the rotating freeze plate. The spreader body extends radially across at least a portion of the upper surface of the freeze plate. The apparatus further includes a scraper for scraping frozen aerated mix off of the rotating freeze plate. The scraper includes a scraper blade with a leading edge that extends radially across the portion of the freeze plate and that engages the upper surface of the freeze plate. The scraper blade is directed opposite the direction of rotation of the freeze plate. The scraper further includes a body that forms an elongated semi-cylindrical channel above the scraper blade that extends radially above the freeze plate for the collection of scraped, frozen and aerated mix. The apparatus also includes a plow for pushing the scraped, frozen and aerated mix through the channel towards a cup held by a cup lifter disposed at an end of the channel. The action of the plow pushes the scraped frozen aerated mix through the channel and into the cup resulting in a generally round scoop of scraped frozen aerated mix in the cup that resembles a serving scoop experienced at a traditional ice cream shop.
Abstract:
An embodiment of the present invention provides a method, comprising breaking an electrode into subsections with signal bus lines connecting said subsections and a solid electrode to improve Q.
Abstract:
A system and a method for indexing pedestrian traffic are disclosed. Traffic information is gathered from counter units (30, 31) placed at entrances in provider malls, retail stores, or other locations where pedestrians may be counted. The counters give daily reports to the traffic indexing system (40) of the amount of pedestrian traffic flowing through traffic monitoring points (30, 31). Traffic data are collected daily from providers and compiled into an index (40). These data may be integrated and indexed with other data such as sales data, labor data and promotion data. Providers (30, 31) and other users (45) may access the traffic index (40) along with other industry information to gauge their performance as compared to the performance of others in the industry or to make educated decisions on development and marketing issues.
Abstract:
Complex nested if-then statement on data objects in a digital computer are organized as a plurality of logical case statements; for each case statement, a set of binary condition arrays is provided and for each data object a condition set. Case statements are executed on the data objects for which a condition array from the set of binary condition arrays matches the condition set for the data object.
Abstract:
A method and system for synchronizing M application documentations across N database instances. N and M are each at least 2. A documentation synchronization agent is executed which updates N1 database instances with the M application documentations and does not update a remaining N-N1 database instances with the M application documentations if N1 is equal to N. N1 is at least 1. If N1 is less than N, then each of the remaining N-N1 database instances include a first and/or second characteristic. The first characteristic is that the remaining database instances include the M application documentations upon initiation of the executing. The second characteristic is that the agent is unable to access the remaining database instance during the executing.
Abstract:
A method and system for displaying and reporting project completion information of a large-scale project having a number of individual subprojects. A rollup agent is employed for acquiring project completion information from a number of subproject databases to provide overall project-wide display and reporting capabilities. The rollup agent collects and organizes the information, and stores it on a rollup database. The rollup agent also interacts with a user to select aspects of any subprojects to report or display. The rollup agent then creates and stores reports of the selected information, or displays the report interactively as a pop-up summary report or a spreadsheet format report to a user. A number of scheduled agents provide scheduled reporting at the subproject level. A number of on demand agents provides the interactive database view, pop-up reporting and spreadsheet reporting for each of the individual subprojects.
Abstract:
The schema of a database may be modified by selectively entering original data to an original database having an original schema; opening the original schema in a user interface; operating the user interface to make changes to the original schema; responsive to the changes being saved, creating a new schema with the changes, creating a backup table with the original schema and copying original data entered to the original database to the backup table, testing the original data with respect to the new schema to identify cases requiring modification of the data to conform to the new schema; and copying the original data as selectively modified from the backup table to the a new database having the new schema.
