Abstract:
This invention provides an air freshener dispenser device comprising (1) a disposable air freshener cartridge, (2) a disposable electrical plug housing, and (3) a reusable electrical plug for engaging a wall electrical outlet. The cartridge has an elongated thermoplastic hollow body configuration with a sealed internal reservoir chamber of liquid air freshener medium, and the upper section of the cartridge body is shaped to a flat shallow extension of the cartridge chamber. An electrical-resistance heating element is affixed on the inner surface of the cartridge chamber shallow extension. A thin wick matrix extends internally from the cartridge chamber bottom up to the top of the chamber shallow extension. The cartridge has an integrally structured means adapted for removal of a top portion of the cartridge chamber shallow extension to expose an upper section of wick matrix to the atmosphere. The disposable electrical plug housing is detachably secured and positioned in front of the cartridge and proximate to the cartridge heating element. The plug housing has two short metal blades which extend through the cartridge vertical slots and engage the reusable electrical plug for conduction of an electrical current to the cartridge heating element, and for heat-promotion of air freshener wicking into the atmosphere.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for remotely crediting and billing usage of a plurality of electronic entertainment machines situated at different locations. Each electronic entertainment is connected via a transmission link to a billing computer situated at a central billing location. The establishment having an electronic entertainment machine may award credit to the electronic entertainment machine by remote control after a customer has paid for credit or the user can insert money in the machine. Each electronic entertainment machine records the number of credits that have been awarded to the machine. At a predetermined time, the billing computer polls each location via the transmission link, and the electronic entertainment machine at each location transmits credit data to the billing computer. Each location is then billed for the use of their respective electronic entertainment machines as determined by the number of awarded credits. The present invention optionally includes means for remotely activating or deactivating an electronic entertainment machine from the central billing location should the need arise. Also, one machine at a location can be a master and other machines are linked to the master to provide the crediting and billing system for all the location machines.
Abstract:
An insect bait device for exterminating crawling insects is disclosed. The device comprises a housing that includes substantially identical first and second housing portions. The housing portions, when joined together, define means for entry into the device by an insect. An absorbent pad impregnated with an insecticide composition is removably retained in one of the housing portions; or such a pad is removably retained in each of the first and second housing portions to provide an insect bait device which may utilize either of its housing portions as its base. A method of manufacturing the insect bait device as well as a preferred insecticide composition are also disclosed.

Abstract:
A personal safety recording system allows an individual to carry a concealed camera on themselves. The camera being concealed increases the likelihood of capturing any threatening or harmful behavior experienced or witnessed by the individual. The camera could be concealed in an owl or other shape and is intended to appear a normal clothing article. While the camera is recording a trigger or notification sequence alerts a friend or other third party that the camera is capturing an event that requires attention. The recording is sent through a transmitter or through another computing device such as a phone. The person's voice or buttons are examples of how the system could quickly and discreetly be activated to transmit the recording.
Abstract:
This disclosure relates generally to computer-implemented data processing system operated through a software application, which comprises a database, an offering module comprising an offering user interface for a borrower to upload pictures of an item as collateral into the database. An evaluation system allowing the lenders on the panel list to give their loan offer to the borrower. The application would facilitate the pawnshops and title lenders to input their pre-approved estimate of the loan amount and provide the Annual Percentage Rate (APR). The customer would be able to receive loan offers based on the appraised value estimate of their uploaded items by multiple lenders in that particular area. The app would also indicate the distance of each broker from customer's location. The whole process will facilitate the customer to make the decision based on loan amount, APR and distance of the lender from their location such as their home or workplace.
Abstract:
The technology provides a method and system to annotate fields associated with a graphical user interface and data objects. The method and systems provide an annotation memory and annotation management system to allow saving annotations associated with fields and data objects. The annotations are fetched from the annotation memory for display along with the field as well as the data object.
