    Abstract: A base station may transmit a control channel transmission during a configured discovery reference signal window on a shared spectrum. A user equipment (UE) may detect the control channel transmission from the base station during the configured discovery reference signal window on the shared spectrum. The UE may determine, in response to detecting the control channel transmission, expected synchronization signal block (SSB) positions within a maximum SSB burst length starting from the control channel transmission during the discovery reference signal window. The base station may transmit SSBs at the expected SSB positions within the maximum SSB burst length starting from the control channel transmission during the discovery reference signal window. The UE may measure SSBs at the expected SSB positions. The UE may conserve power by stopping measurements or entering a sleep mode after the expected SSB positions.

    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, configuration information including multiple transmission configuration indication (TCI) states associated with a control resource set (CORESET). The UE may receive, from the base station, a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) in a region associated with the CORESET, wherein the PDCCH includes at least one control channel element (CCE). The UE may perform blind decoding for multiple configured PDCCH candidates based at least in part on a resource element group (REG) bundle included in the at least one CCE, wherein the multiple configured PDCCH candidates are associated with one or more of the multiple TC states associated with the CORESET. Accordingly, the UE may identify the PDCCH transmitted by the base station based at least in part on the blind decoding.

    Abstract: A method, an apparatus, a base station, and a user equipment (UE) for wireless communication are provided to reduce the retransmission latency for URLLC communications. Upon receiving a downlink data transmission, a UE waits until it completes decoding of the received downlink data transmission before it can send an ACK/NAK report on the decoded downlink data transmission. In case of a decoding failure, the base station cannot start retransmission until the UE finishes the decoding of the downlink data transmission and sends the ACK/NAK report and until the base station finishes decoding of an NAK in the ACK/NAK report. This considerable retransmission latency may not meet stringent latency requirements of some URLLC applications. A two-stage ACK/NAK reporting is disclosed to reduce the retransmission latency where the UE sends an early ACK/NAK report upon partially completing the decoding of the downlink data transmission.
