Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive multiple uplink grants that schedule uplink transmissions for two different radio access technologies (RATs) during overlapping time resources. The UE may adjust the power for one of the uplink transmissions based on the temporal proximity of the second received uplink grant relative to the first uplink transmission. The UE may adjust the power of the uplink transmission by partially or completely reducing its power.

Abstract: Techniques for monitoring for control information in sets of downlink control channel resources are described, where multiple sets of downlink control channel resources may overlap. The described techniques include monitoring for one or more search spaces in a set of downlink control channel resources by rate matching downlink control channel resources independently of other sets of downlink control channel resources. Alternatively, overlapping sets of downlink control channel resources may be rate-matched accounting for reference signals of overlapping sets of downlink control channel resources.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining rate matching behavior for a plurality of control resource sets (CORESETs) is provided. A base station (BS) bundles a plurality of CORESETs into a global resource set. The BS configures the global resource set for a User Equipment (UE). The BS determines resources assigned to a downlink data channel overlap at least a portion of the global resource set and determines whether data on the downlink data channel is to be rate matched around the global resource set or is to use resources in the global resource set. The BS transmits the data on the downlink data channel based on the determination of the rate matching.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A base station may transmit or otherwise indicate a semi-static slot format configuration and a dynamic slot format configuration to a user equipment (UE). The UE may determine a slot format configuration based on the received semi-static and dynamic slot format configurations. In some cases, the UE may replace certain resources of the semi-static slot format configuration with resources from the dynamic slot format configuration depending on a certain embodiment. Additionally or alternatively, the base station may transmit an anchor slot configuration to the UE, which may indicate which resources of the semi-static slot format configuration can be overridden or replaced by the dynamic slot format configuration.

Abstract: In an aspect, a UE may determine a capability of the UE to support two or more frequency range and duplex mode combinations associated with a communication feature, wherein the communication feature is associated with a plurality of frequency ranges and is further associated with a plurality of duplex modes on at least one of the plurality of frequency ranges. The UE may transmit, to a core network component, a UE capability indication that indicates the determined capability. The core network component may receive the UE capability indication. Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to downlink (DL) control channel communications are provided. A wireless communication device identifies a search space set including a plurality of PDCCH candidate search spaces for a downlink control channel. The wireless communication device determines that a first resource associated with a first PDCCH candidate search space of the plurality of PDCCH candidate search spaces overlaps with a preconfigured resource. The wireless communication device monitors for a downlink control message over the downlink control channel by excluding monitoring in at least the first PDCCH candidate search space based on the determining.

The UE may also receive, from the base station, a second message indicating that the UE activate a first measurement configuration, deactivate the first measurement configuration, or switch to the first measurement configuration, where the first measurement configuration is from the plurality of measurement configurations. The UE may determine a measurement reporting scheme based at least in part on the indication to activate, deactivate, or switch to the first measurement configuration.

Abstract: In aspects, a base station and a user equipment (UE) exchange synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) carrying a SFN identity, and a waveform of the SSBs has a secondary synchronization signal (SSS) symbol preceding a primary SS symbol. In aspects, a base station transmits a radio access network area code (RAN-AC) SS and RAN-AC page are quasi co-located (QCL). In aspects, a base station transmits a RAN-AC SS over a SFN while avoiding overlap of RAN-AC SS resources with channels employed for initial access of update area cells. In aspects, a base station provides a control resource set (CORESET) to a UE upon release from a connected state, and the UE receives a RAN-AC paging PDCCH based on the CORESET. In aspects, a base station transmits a SFN wake up signal (WUS) when there is a grant for paging, and the UE monitors for the WUS.
