Abstract: A method and apparatus for connecting a V2X-enabled terminal to a local vehicle-to-everything (V2X) server is provided. A communication method of a terminal of the present disclosure includes transmitting mobility information of the terminal to a macro vehicle-to-everything (V2X) server performing V2X communication with the terminal, receiving provision information for connection to a local V2X server taking charge of an area predicted as a next-hop area to which the terminal moves from the macro V2X server, and establishing, when the terminal enters the next-hop area, a connection to the local V2X server for V2X communication based on the provision information.
