摘要: Methods and apparatus performed in a wireless communication system are provided. An attach request message for a first network supported by a user equipment (UE), is transmitted to a management entity. The attach request message includes first UE network capability information indicating support of a second network supported by the UE. An attach accept message indicating completion of attach to the first network is received from the management entity. A packet data network (PDN) connectivity request for the first network is transmitted to the management entity. A first session for the first network is established through a session management entity supporting mobility between the first network and the second network. In case that the UE supports the second network, regardless of enabled or disabled status of UE network capability for the second network, the session establishment request includes information related to a second session for the second network.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. A method performed by a terminal in a mobile communication system is provided according to one embodiment of the present disclosure. The method comprises the steps of: transmitting a first message, comprising network function information of the terminal, to a mobility management entity associated with a first network; if the network function information instructs support for a second network, receiving a second message comprising connection reactivation request information from the mobility management entity; releasing the connection with respect to the first network in response to the second message; transmitting a third message, for reestablishing connection to the first network, to the mobility management entity on the basis of the connection reactivation request information. The third message comprises an identifier of a first session for the second network corresponding to the connection with respect to the first network allocated by the terminal.

The wireless network may maintain the count accurately even though the PDU session is a MA PDU session.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. Methods and systems for handling network slice admission control for User Equipment (UE) are provided. The disclosure relates to network slicing and more particularly, to a system and method of ensuring that a communication system is able to accurately enforce quota on the maximum number of UEs concurrently registering for a network slice defined by a Single Network Slice Selection Assistance Information (S-NSSAI). The disclosure describes how the limits of “Number of Terminals” configured for an S-NSSAI may be accurately maintained in a Network Slice Admission Control Function (NSACF), and thus the enforcement may be performed when the limit is really exhausted. The disclosure also describes that a deregistration notification from a Unified Data Management (UDM) may act as a trigger for an old Mobility Management Function (AMF) to decrement counts in the NSACF as the old AMF is no longer serving the UE.
