Abstract: A device implementing the subject technology may include at least one processor configured to receive downlink condition reports from device, each downlink condition report indicating a downlink channel condition of a respective device. The at least one processor is further configured to determine an uplink channel condition for each of the devices. The at least one processor is further configured to determine, for each respective device and based at least in part on the downlink condition reports and the uplink channel conditions, quality tiers, each of the quality tiers indicating a quality of at least one of an audio stream or a video stream. The at least one processor is further configured to provide for transmission, to each respective device, the quality tiers determined for the respective device.

In some implementations, a target distributed unit (DU) of a base station to serve a user equipment (UE) can be determined to be served by a target CU-UP of the base station. A serving CU-UP of the base station can serve a serving DU of the base station that is currently serving the UE. Using a centralized unit control plane (CU-CP) of the base station, the target CU-UP can be prepared for layer 1/layer 2 triggered mobility (LTM), and, using the CU-CP, the target DU can be prepared for LTM.

Abstract: Embodiments include conditional mobility methods performed by a user equipment (UE) in a wireless network. Such methods include receiving, from a network node via a serving cell, a conditional mobility configuration related to a plurality of mobility procedures, of different types, towards one or more candidate target entities. The conditional mobility configuration includes one or more triggering conditions for the plurality of mobility procedures. Such methods include monitoring for the triggering conditions based on measurements of radio signals associated with the candidate target entities and/or the serving cell. Such methods include, based on detecting a particular triggering condition, performing a particular mobility procedure towards a particular candidate target entity, with the particular candidate target entity and/or the particular mobility procedure being selected based on a selection rule. Other embodiments include complementary methods performed by a network node, and UEs and network nodes configured to perform such methods.

Abstract: A method, device and system for creating resources during a user equipment (UE) hands over from a non-3rd Generation Partnership Project (non-3GPP) system to a 3GPP system are provided. A serving gateway (Serving GW) receives a first resource request message, such as Create Default Bearer Request message, including handover indication information indicating the handover from a mobility management network device, e.g., a MME. As the received resource request message includes the handover indication information, the Serving GW includes the handover indication information in a second resource request message and then sends the second resource request message to a PDN GW. After receiving the second resource request message, the PDN GW policy and charging control (PCC) rules to be used by the UE in the 3GPP access system so as to create the resources used by the UE in the 3GPP system.
