Abstract:
The invention relates to a seat back for an aircraft comprising a structural column bearing a plurality of devices for supporting an occupant of the seat, these devices being distributed along the structural column and oriented transversely relatively to the structural column so as to each protrude on either side of this column. This solution can reduce the mass and dimensions, while providing satisfactory comfort for the occupant.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and computer readable media are disclosed for managing an aircraft's systems through a dedicated interface. One aspect of a method for implementing the subject matter described herein includes at least one interactive interface configured for managing an aircraft system, displaying at least one or more graphic object representing at least one or more system component, displaying at least one or more energy flow icon representing the direction of circulation of an energy flow, and interacting with the at least one or more system component through a user action on the at least one or more graphic object.
Abstract:
A method and device including a unit to extract a linear terrain profile stored in memory, a terrain height for a current distance of the aircraft, a unit for determining a current height of the aircraft with respect to the terrain, using at least one measurement taken by a radar altimeter, a unit for computing a first current altitude of the aircraft, using the terrain height and the current height, a unit for computing a second current altitude of the aircraft, corresponding to an altitude on an approach profile of the current position of the aircraft and a unit for computing the difference between the first and second current altitudes, the difference being transmitted to a guidance unit to vertically guide the aircraft.
Abstract:
A manual drilling apparatus equipped with a device for control of advance, which includes a fixed part and a mobile part with movement of translation relative to the fixed part during the drilling, as well as a system for control of the movement of translation of the mobile part relative to the fixed part, wherein the fixed part and the mobile part comprise respectively at least one fixed tube and at least one mobile tube which slide relative to one another, the fixed and mobile tubes being coaxial to the axis of rotation of the tool supported by the apparatus.
Abstract:
A cutting plate includes a planar interface able to accept electrical connectors, two ramps for supporting harnesses and two lateral walls, the dimensions of the interface and of the two ramps in a longitudinal direction being adapted to suit the number of connectors of the cutting plate and the dimensions in the directions other than the longitudinal direction and the dimensions of the lateral walls conforming to standard dimensions.
Abstract:
A tool for sealing at least one opening of a fluid circuit element, the tool including a support, at least one sealing device for an opening connected to the support and positioning structure for positioning and immobilizing the support with respect to the fluid circuit element, the frame comprising a U-shaped stirrup with a base and two arms, a rod and two connections connecting the rod to each arm, each arm including a centering wedge attached to the internal face of the arm which presents a bearing surface, the bearing surfaces being spaced apart by a distance making it possible to immobilize the fluid circuit element in a first direction in a transverse plane.
Abstract:
A fixing element for components of an assembly, comprising a rod which is formed by a cylindrical shaft and an end, the rod being a metal component which is at least partially surface-treated by means of anode oxidation and coated over at least a portion of the cylindrical shaft with a lubricating coating. Such a fixing element enables the electrical continuity to be ensured with the components during mounting with moderate interference in the assembly.
Abstract:
A data network, especially a data network for an aircraft or spacecraft, includes a primary data grid, and at least one secondary data grid, the primary data grid including primary data nodes, wherein the primary data nodes are directly or indirectly coupled in data communication with each other, and the at least one secondary data grid comprising secondary data nodes, wherein the at least one secondary data grid is configured to connect the secondary data nodes in a data communication chain and to connect the first secondary data node of the data communication chain to a first respective primary data node and/or the last secondary data node of the data communication chain to a second respective primary data node.
Abstract:
A method for testing a batch of material used to obtain layers of fibres includes taking a specimen from the batch of material, exerting a tensile force on the specimen, heating the specimen so as to relax the fibres if the specimen contains stresses, after a predetermined period of time, no longer heating and no longer exerting the tensile force on the specimen, measuring a residual extension of the specimen which corresponds to a variation in length of at least a part of the specimen in the direction of the tensile force, before and after the tensile force, and considering the batch of material not to be compliant if the residual extension exceeds a given threshold.
Abstract:
According to a first aspect, the subject matter disclosed herein relates to a decision aid method for maintenance operations of aircraft equipment, the aircraft including a maintenance system arranged to make a record of equipment failure messages and of equipment failure warning messages emitted during a flight, the method comprising extracting at least one combination of failure messages corresponding to failure messages recorded by the maintenance system during a flight and a set of previous flights; determining, as a function of the at least one extracted combination, a probability of occurrence of at least one warning message possibly accompanied by one or more failure messages.
