Abstract: Techniques are provided for controlling access entitlement for networking device data. In one example, a geographic location of a networking device is determined. A request to access data associated with the networking device is obtained from a user device. A user parameter of a user associated with the user device is determined. An access policy that controls access to the data based on the geographic location of the networking device and the user parameter is identified. The request to access the data is permitted or denied based on the geographic location of the networking device, the user parameter, and the access policy.

An example method includes receiving a beacon from a network device. The beacon includes a trust level of the network device. The method further includes determining that the trust level of the network device satisfies a predetermined trust criterion. Based on determining that the trust level of the network device satisfies the predetermined trust criterion, the method includes transmitting a connection request to the network device. Further, user data is received from the network device.

Abstract: A method includes performing a first iteration of automated frequency coordination (AFC) using geospatial coordinates of a first access point at a site and a first margin of error to determine a first number of allowed channels for the first access point and performing a second iteration of AFC using the geospatial coordinates of the first access point and a second margin of error to determine a second number of allowed channels for the first access point. The first margin of error is lower than the second margin of error. The method also includes, in response to determining that a difference between the first number and the second number meets a threshold, instructing a second access point at the site to perform AFC using the second margin of error rather than the first margin of error.

Abstract: Presented herein are techniques for assigning Ultra-Wideband (UWB) anchors for client ranging. A location server can estimate a coarse location of a mobile device using a localization technique other than a UWB localization technique. The localization technique can involve multiple wireless access points or other radio devices. The location server can define an area around the coarse location to identify a set of candidate anchors for UWB ranging. The set of candidate anchors can be disposed within the area and include at least a subset of the radio devices. The location server can modify the set of candidate anchors to create a modified set of candidate anchors that includes only UWB-enabled devices. The location server can select a primary anchor from the modified set of candidate anchors and send a command to cause a UWB ranging procedure to be initiated between the primary anchor and the mobile device.

Abstract: Presented herein are techniques for assigning Ultra-Wideband (UWB) anchors for client ranging. A control device can monitor UWB ranging between a mobile device and a primary anchor. In response to determining that a signal strength between the mobile device and the primary anchor is below a threshold, the control device can identify anchors for which the mobile device has had a signal strength above the threshold during a period of time, and select one of the anchors as a new primary anchor for the mobile device. For example, the control device can select the new primary anchor based on a relative collision tolerance mapping for the new primary anchor and at least one other anchor within a UWB range of the new primary anchor. The control device can send a command causing UWB ranging to be performed between the mobile device and the new primary anchor.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method comprises first causing, by a controller device, wireless access points (APs) to allocate first non-interfering wireless channels for a prescribed reliable data service for wireless client devices in a WLAN; second causing the wireless APs to allocate a second shared channel having a bandwidth that is at least twice the corresponding bandwidth of any of the first non-interfering wireless channels; allocating for each wireless client device a corresponding location service interval on the second shared channel for transmission of at least a corresponding identifiable wireless data unit for locating the corresponding wireless client device between two or more of the wireless APs; and determining a location of at least one of the wireless client devices based on reception of at least the corresponding wireless data unit between the one wireless client device and the two or more wireless APs during the corresponding location service interval.

Abstract: According to one or more embodiments, a first router receives a latency measurement indicative of latency associated with traffic sent from the first router to a second router. The first router calculates an asymmetrical latency as a difference between the latency measurement and a latency associated with traffic sent from the second router to the first router. The first router determines, based on the asymmetrical latency, a symmetrical latency target. The first router sends, to the second router, an indication of the symmetrical latency target. The first router and the second router adjust their respective de-jitter buffers to achieve the symmetrical latency target between the first router and the second router.

The device evaluates, based on the data, motion of the client relative to the wireless access point. The device makes, based on the motion of the client relative to the wireless access point, a determination that the motion of the client relative to the wireless access point will result in the wireless communications degrading as the client approaches the wireless access point. The device adjusts the wireless communications, based on the determination that the motion of the client relative to the wireless access point will result in the wireless communications degrading as the client approaches the wireless access point.
