Abstract: In a method and apparatus for determining a search space, a control resource set of a terminal device is corresponding to at least two aggregation levels. The at least two aggregation levels include a maximum aggregation level and a first aggregation level, the first aggregation level is less than the maximum aggregation level, and the maximum aggregation level is the highest aggregation level of the at least two aggregation levels. Based on the method and the apparatus, a first search space corresponding to the first aggregation level is determined based on a quantity of control channel elements (CCEs) included in the control resource set of the terminal device and the maximum aggregation level.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application provide a control channel configuration method, a base station, and a terminal device. The method includes: determining, by a base station, a configuration of a time-frequency resource unit from at least two configurations of a time-frequency resource unit of a control channel; and sending, by the base station, indication information to a terminal device, where the indication information is used to indicate the configuration of the time-frequency resource unit, and the at least two configurations of a time-frequency resource unit include a first configuration and a second configuration. In the embodiments of this application, the base station can flexibly configure the time-frequency resource unit of the control channel. In addition, flexibly configuring a time-frequency resource unit can reduce a probability that time-frequency resource units of different structures are blocked, thereby reducing complexity of detecting the control channel by the terminal device.

Abstract: In a bandwidth allocation method, user equipment (UE) receives virtual bandwidth configuration information and performs signal reception and/or signal processing according to a virtual bandwidth indicated by the virtual bandwidth configuration information, where the virtual bandwidth configuration information is used for indicating a configuration of the virtual bandwidth. The virtual bandwidth is a part or all of a downlink maximum available bandwidth or a downlink transmission bandwidth, and the downlink maximum available bandwidth is a maximum bandwidth available for downlink transmission. In this way, reduction of overheads and reduction of complexity of signal reception and signal processing are implemented, and overheads and complexity of signal reception and processing feedback can be flexibly controlled.

Abstract: A timing method for time division duplex communication, an uplink/downlink data scheduling method, a base station, and user equipment are provided. By determining whether grouping needs to be performed on uplink/downlink short transmission time intervals, it is determined, for different grouping requirements, whether addition of indication information to control signaling is required to indicate to user equipment an uplink short transmission time interval sequence number in an uplink short transmission time interval group for uplink data transmission or feedback to downlink data scheduling. Alternatively, addition of indication information to control signaling is not required, and uplink data transmission or feedback to downlink data scheduling is performed in an uplink short transmission time interval determined according to a default rule.

Abstract: Embodiments provide methods and devices for data transmission and assignment of uplink control channel resources in an uplink FDD carrier, for enabling a terminal device to provide HARQ feedback for data transmitted in the downlink using carrier aggregation of a downlink FDD carrier and at least one TDD carrier. A method includes associating each downlink subframe in the downlink FDD carrier with an uplink control channel subframe in the uplink FDD carrier, associating each downlink subframe and special subframe in the TDD carrier with an uplink control channel subframe in the uplink FDD carrier, assigning uplink control channel resources in the uplink FDD carrier to the terminal device according to the associations, and transmitting data on said downlink FDD carrier and/or TDD carrier, to be received by the terminal device.
