Abstract: A method for cancelling self-interference by a base station that uses a full duplex radio (FDR) scheme may comprise the steps of: transmitting, to a terminal, information associated with reference signal (RS) power boosting, which has been changed for estimation of a self-interference channel; transmitting an RS on the basis of the changed RS power boosting; estimating the self-interference channel according to the RS; and cancelling the self-interference on the basis of the estimation of the self-interference channel.

Abstract: An apparatus for removing self-interference in an environment supporting an FDR method according to the present invention may comprise: an analog self-interference removal unit that is constructed to remove a first analog self-interference by subtracting a self-interference signal received through a first delay circuit connected between an RF transmission chain and an RF reception chain of the apparatus from a self-interference signal received at a first circuit of the RF reception chain of the apparatus, and that is constructed to remove a second analog self-interference by subtracting a self-interference signal received through a second delay circuit connected between the RF transmission chain and the RF reception chain of the apparatus from a self-interference signal received at a second circuit of the RF reception chain of the apparatus; and a processor that is constructed to determine whether the first and the second analog self-interference removals were respectively successful on the basis of the respective residual self-interference signals that are left after removing the first and the second analog self-interferences.

Abstract: A method for selecting, by a base station, HD mode or FD mode in a wireless communication system supporting an FDR scheme may comprise: a step of receiving, from a second terminal which receives interference from a first terminal, a value related to the signal to noise ratio (SNR) of the second terminal and a value related to the signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) of the second terminal; a step of measuring the SNR value and the SINR value of the base station; a step of calculating the channel capacity ratio between the HD mode and the FD mode by using the received value related to the SNR of the second terminal, the received value related to the SINR of the second terminal, the measured SNR value of the base station, and the measured SINR value of the base station; and a step of selecting either mode on the basis of the calculated channel capacity ratio between the HD mode and the FD mode.

The concatenated code encoding method of the present disclosure includes encoding an input signal based on a repetition-accumulation (RA) code as an outer code, adding a tail bit to the encoded input signal, and encoding the encoded input signal based on the a turbo code. The concatenated code encoding method may further include interleaving the encoded input signal after application of the outer code.

Abstract: A method for performing a Full-Duplex Radio (FDR) operation in a wireless communication system that supports the FDR is disclosed. The method includes exchanging FDR capability information that represents whether to have a capability of performing the FDR operation between a user equipment (UE) and a base station (BS); receiving, by the UE, Inter-Device-Interference (IDI) measurement configuration information from the BS; performing, by the UE, an IDI measurement based on the received IDI measurement configuration information; reporting, by the UE, a result of the IDI measurement to the BS; and receiving, by the UE, a control message notifying that the UE is included in a group related to the FDR operation from the BS, where the FDR capability information includes indication information that represents whether to support an FDR mode that transmission and reception operations are available to be performed simultaneously using an identical radio resource.

Abstract: A method and corresponding user equipment (UE) for configuring a circular buffer in a wireless communication system. The method includes: generating a code block including a payload, a first outer code parity, and a second outer code parity from an input signal based on an outer code in a higher layer; generating a codeword from the code block based on an inner code in a physical layer; and configuring a circular buffer including the codeword and one or more second outer code parities. The first outer code parity is generated based on a first portion of the payload, the one or more second outer code parities, to which an encoding is not applied in the physical layer, are generated based on a second portion of the payload, at least a part of the second portion is different from the first portion, the codeword includes the payload, the first outer code parity, and an inner code parity generated from at least part of the code block based on the inner code, and a number of the one or more second outer code parities in the circular buffer is determined according to a maximum size of the codeword or an amount of resources for transmission.
