Abstract:
Some embodiments of a product display shelf apparatus include at least one shelf to receive a plurality of image-bearing products while a product signage assembly is removably attached to the shelf. The product signage assembly can be toollessly assembled to the shelf such that an image display panel exhibits images that generally match those of the image-bearing products.
Abstract:
A faceplate assembly includes a faceplate body and a label cover. The faceplate body has a front surface and an opposite back side. The front surface includes a panel area and a label area recessed from the front surface. The panel area includes a port extending through the front surface. The label area includes a hinge element. The label cover is coupled to the faceplate body and is disposed in the label area. The label cover includes a hinge protrusion and a retention tab. The hinge protrusion is rotatably coupled to the hinge element to permit the label cover to rotate toward and away from the front surface. The retention tab engages the faceplate body along a perimeter of the label area to secure the label cover in a closed position against the faceplate body.
Abstract:
Identity labeling system for a typical tight switch cover plate (5) used in a manner that is common for covering typical light switches and their electrical connections. The switch plate cover includes openings (25) that expose the electrical switches or devices and holes (35) to accept screws (45) that secure the switch plate cover onto the wall to cover the electrical connections. The improved method of labeling an existing switch plate comprises a label cover plate (15) attached to the switch cover plate (5) with the existing screw (45) that typically secures an existing switch cover plate to the wall. The cover plate is made of a clear material. The cover plate (15) includes a recess (55) in the back of the cover to hold the identity label (95) tabs (65) and grooves (75) to insure correct alignment during installation. The identity label (95) is a typical label that is used in offices to identify file folders. The labels come in perforated sheets (85) that can be imprinted by running them through a common computer printer to customize the labels to be used in any location to identify the switch.
Abstract:
An injection molded, recessed insert is disclosed which is adapted to receive and hold a label or label holder. The insert may be snap-locked in an opening in a container such as a tote box. The insert provides a recessed area for the label or label holder so the label or label holder is not removed or ripped off of the container wall when contacted by another object. In one embodiment a cover is hinged to the recess.
Abstract:
Discloses a method of making scanning hooks with a release agent on the label attachment tab. Stock is formed by laminating a plastic sheet which will provide the main carrier body of the overlay and a thin film which has a release agent strongly bonded to its outer surface. The film is bonded to the main plastic layer, such as by an adhesive. Overlay blanks are cut from the resulting laminate stock as by die cutting. The overlay blanks then are bent and mounted on scanning hooks, with the tab portion extending essentially vertically and presenting an outwardly exposed release surface which provides ready appliability, removability and replaceability of merchandising labels which bear information related to the products supported on the hanger.

Abstract:
A price indicator mounting unit which can install a price indicator at any place of a showcase (set of display shelves) and at any kind of display board (display shelf) easily but can not be removed easily by customers. Also, the price indicator mounting unit is inexpensive and capable of getting optional setting angle freely. The price indicator mounting unit comprises one or a plurality of display board mounting members and indicator mounting members, wherein the display board mounting member constituted of a bracket, a stopper plate and a screw, and as the screw is tightened, the both ends of the bracket are opened outward by the stopper plate put between the both ends to engage with a display board. In addition, by replacing the display board mounting member with another one, the connection with a flat rail becomes possible. Further, for the convenience of fitting of the price indicator mounting member and the price indicator, either of them is provided with a flexible protrusion and the other one provided with a convex receptor to receive the protrusion at its end face.
Abstract:
A flexible sign board for blade signs is provided. The sign board has a frame with a mounting bracket that is connected to a resilient support. The resilient support is a plurality of springs connected to a shelf or the wall bracket according to the desired application. The springs support and maintain the sign frame perpendicular to the wall or shelf it the sign is attached to and thereby provides a "swing away" effect of the sign when bumped into or pushed out of the consumers way. The flexible sign frame and mounting thereof will not obstruct the consumer aisle, and thereby enables the increased visibility of the displayed items from a further distance. The Flexible sign board system provides the ability to adapt the sign board to an infinite variety of varying shelf depths without using or taking away valuable retail shelf space.
Abstract:
An advertising display mounting device is provided for attaching promotional displays, dispensers, or other objects to a price channel mounted on the edge of a grocery or other retail store shelf. This mounting device uses clips which are adapted to mate with the price channel of the shelf. The clips are forced into a mated relation with the price channel by a locking slide. The invention also provides for a means by which to attach an advertising display to the advertising display mounting device.
Abstract:
A product information module (such as a shelf tag, shelf label or the like) includes a housing in which a physical embodiment of information is mounted and a locking device which mounts the housing to a support surface. The locking device includes a locking member which coacts with the support surface to form an angle A whose tangent is less than the coefficient of friction between the locking member and the support surface. As a consequence, locking force is minimal and lateral movement of the module is resisted no matter how much force is applied.
