Abstract: A flexible sign board for blade signs is provided. The sign board has a frame with a mounting bracket that is connected to a resilient support. The resilient support is a plurality of springs connected to a shelf or the wall bracket according to the desired application. The springs support and maintain the sign frame perpendicular to the wall or shelf it the sign is attached to and thereby provides a "swing away" effect of the sign when bumped into or pushed out of the consumers way. The flexible sign frame and mounting thereof will not obstruct the consumer aisle, and thereby enables the increased visibility of the displayed items from a further distance. The Flexible sign board system provides the ability to adapt the sign board to an infinite variety of varying shelf depths without using or taking away valuable retail shelf space.

Abstract: A display rack for dispensing packaged items from a vertical stack of items contained within magazines which are interchangeably received and retained by columns within a housing. The leading item within each magazine may be withdrawn through the discharge opening of the housing and upon withdrawal, a next leading item will be placed in a position for withdrawal as a result of the positive gravity feed of the magazine. A guard is provided which covers the discharge opening of the housing thereby preventing access to the packaged items within the magazines. The display rack also includes a means for locking the guard in first and second positions.

Abstract: A soil excavating and utility pole securing sleeve is disclosed which will, when rotated around a standing utility pole, excavate an annulus of soil between the pole and the interior of the sleeve. The excavating sleeve defines an elongated hollow cylinder having teeth and inwardly bent excavating doors or flaps at one end which moves the soil between the utility pole and the sleeve out the door or flap and compacts the soil into the earth surrounding the sleeve. The sleeve is rotated into the ground around the utility pole for half its length, left there, and the evacuated annulus of soil then filled with a mixture of epoxy, resin, fungicide, and aggregate, allowed to cure and harden in order that the utility pole, the filling, and the sleeve become one single structure with a strength greater than that possessed by the original utility pole when new.
