Abstract:
A fluid delivery system for selectively dispensing a material includes a container with a top wall in which an opening is formed, a bottom wall, and at least one container side wall extending between the top wall and the bottom wall defining a cavity for storing the material, as well as a surface cleaning apparatus including a receiver configured to couple with the container. The receiver includes at least one receiver fluid inlet, at least one receiver fluid outlet and a locking mechanism.
Abstract:
A mist generating system for a cleaning implement is adapted to generate a finely atomized liquid mist for suppressing dust, allergens, and other airborne particulates. The mist generating system can be adapted to fit many cleaning implements such as vacuum cleaners, wet extraction cleaners, floor mops, and dusters to suppress airborne dust and particulates generated during operation and the cleaning process.
Abstract:
A surface cleaning apparatus is provided with a housing including a suction source and a plurality of base assemblies that can be operably coupled to the housing. The multiple base assemblies can include different base assemblies for cleaning multiple surface types. A fluid distributor, including a base distributor, can supply cleaning fluid for a surface to be cleaned from at least one of the plurality of base assemblies.
Abstract:
A surface cleaning apparatus, such as a steam mop, includes a steam delivery system having a steam delivery pathway. A fragrance dispenser for receiving a fragrant material is provided on the apparatus, and a portion of the steam delivery pathway is in heat exchange relationship with the fragrance dispenser to heat the fragrant material in the fragrance dispenser by heat transfer from the steam in the pathway. Fragrance is dispensed from apparatus via heat transfer utilizing the steam pathway as a thermal radiation source.
Abstract:
A surface cleaning apparatus includes a housing, a fluid delivery system including a supply tank removably mounted on the housing and a fluid distributor, a fluid recovery system having a recovery tank removably mounted on the housing, an extraction nozzle, a motor/fan assembly, and a supply tank receiver provided on the housing for receiving the supply tank and comprising a void at least partially defining a seat for the supply tank.
Abstract:
A steam mop with an upright handle assembly pivotally mounted to a foot includes a fluid distribution system. The fluid distribution system includes a steam generator, a fluid distributor in the foot that applies steam to a floor surface and an auxiliary hose that applies steam to above-floor surfaces.
Abstract:
A system and method for selectively manually controlling an autonomous floor cleaner includes an autonomous floor cleaner and a remote control device, such as a smartphone. The smartphone can have a downloaded application for controlling one or more functions of the cleaning robot, including manually directing the movement of the cleaning robot.
Abstract:
A surface cleaning apparatus includes a housing including an upright handle assembly and a base mounted to the handle assembly and adapted for movement across a surface to be cleaned. A fluid delivery system can be provided on the housing and can include a fluid supply chamber and a fluid dispenser. A fluid recovery system can be provided on the housing and include a suction nozzle assembly, a recovery chamber, and a vacuum source to draw fluid from the surface to be cleaned.
Abstract:
A system, method and computer program product are provided for conducting business over a network utilizing a graphical user interface. Initially, a request indicating a primary product or service is received utilizing a network. In response to the request, the primary product or service is displayed on a graphical user interface utilizing the network. Further in response to the request, at least one secondary product or service associated with the primary product or service is displayed utilizing the network. As such, a user may conveniently select the at least one secondary product or service utilizing the network. In one embodiment, the secondary products or services are intended to be used with the primary product or service.
Abstract:
A FLOOR SWEEPER HAVING A PAIR OF ROTATABLE BRUSHES, EACH OF WHICH IS ALTERNATELY DRIVEN OF FREELY ROTATABLE OVER THE FLOOR. THE DIRECTION OF ROTATION OF EACH BRUSH IS THE SAME AT ALL TIMES AND IS OPPOSITE TO THE DIRECTION OF ROTATION OF THE OTHER BRUSH. A COMB IS DISPOSED ADJACENT EACH BRUSH, WITH EACH COMB BEING PIVOTABLE Y INERTIA FORCES INTO AND OUT OF BRUSH ENGAGEMENT. EACH COMB ENGAGEMENT OCCURS WHEN THE RESPECTIVE RBUSH IS DRIVEN, WITH THE COMB BEING DISENGAGED FROM ITS BRUSH WHEN THE LATTER IS FREELY ROTATING.
