    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for a wireless node to receive a phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) transmitted inside a downlink random access channel (RACH) message. The wireless node may receive a downlink RACH message that includes a PTRS based on an indication received in a downlink RACH message or a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) associated with a downlink RACH message. In some aspects, the wireless node may utilize the PTRS for phase error correction or frequency error correction (such as frequency error caused by Doppler effects). This disclosure also provides systems, methods, and apparatuses for a component of a base station to provide an indication that a PTRS is included in a downlink RACH message. The indication may be provided in a downlink RACH message or a PDCCH associated with a downlink RACH message.

    Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to dynamically updating a mapping of uplink control information (UCI) payload size to the one or more physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource sets or the one or more PUCCH formats. For example, a base station or a user equipment (UE) may update the mapping when the UE is in a coverage enhancement condition. The base station or UE may dynamically update the mapping of UCI payload size to the one or more PUCCH resource sets or the one or more PUCCH formats. The UE may map a UCI payload to a selected PUCCH resource set or PUCCH format according to the updated mapping to generate a UCI. Based on the updated mappings, the UE can accordingly transmit UCI based on a selected PUCCH resource set or format, or a base station can receive the UCI based on the selected PUCCH resource set or format.

    Abstract: A method of wireless communication may include a UE and a base station. The base station may configure, for the UE, a search space associated with a first CORESET and a second CORESET, and transmit a PDCCH within the configured search space. The UE may monitor for the PDCCH based on the configuration of the search space, where at least one PDCCH candidate may include components associated with different CORESETs on different monitoring occasions. The PDCCH candidate may include a first subset within the first CORESET and a second subset within the second CORESET. The PDCCH candidate may include a third subset including a first and second components, and at least one of the first and second components may be itself a PDCCH candidate within the first or second subset of the PDCCH candidates.

    Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for coverage enhancement information indication via wake-up signaling. An example method generally includes obtaining a message, the message including: a first field including at least one wake-up indication bit associated with a user equipment (UE) and a second field including coverage information associated with at least one downlink channel. The method may also include monitoring for the at least one downlink channel based, at least in part, on the message.
