摘要： Methods and apparatus are disclosed for a locked machine gun that includes a casing, a barrel, a locking breech mechanism, an abutment and a quick change attachment. The locking breech mechanism has at least one locking body. The abutment holds the locking body or locking bodies of the locked breech mechanism. The quick-change attachment is used to facilitate the removal of the barrel and insertion and attachment of a new barrel. A first part of the abutment remains on the casing when the barrel is being changed, and a second part of the abutment is firmly connected to the barrel. The quick-change attachment is equipped to bring about a separation between the first part of the abutment remaining with the casing and the barrel with the second part. Also, the second part of the abutment has a curved section which controls the engagement of the breech mechanism in the abutment when the breech mechanism closes.

摘要： Methods and apparatus are described for safety apparatuses for weapons. An example safety apparatus includes an interchangeable barrel and a safety mechanism. The safety mechanism can be moved between an open position that corresponds to an unlocked position and a closed position that corresponds to a locked position. The safety mechanism includes a feeder cover that is part of cartridge loading equipment that supplies cartridges to the weapon. The feeder cover includes a locking mechanism that engages with a barrel locking device and prevents the feeder cover from entering the closed position if the interchangeable barrel is not coupled to the weapon via the barrel locking device. Further, the unlocked position prevents the weapon from being fired and the locked position allows the weapon to be fired. Additionally, the barrel locking device couples the interchangeable barrel to the weapon and wherein the barrel locking device interacts with a safety mechanism and prevents the safety mechanism from entering the locked position if the interchangeable barrel is not coupled to the weapon via the barrel locking device.

摘要： Blank cartridge devices for attachment over a muzzle flash suppressor and methods of operating the same are disclosed. A disclosed example includes a muzzle flash suppressor mounted on a barrel that includes a muzzle, a longitudinal bore including internal threading, an inner cone in communication with the longitudinal bore, and a lateral opening located in a side of the muzzle flash suppressor between the inner cone and the muzzle of the muzzle flash suppressor. A disclosed example further includes a blank cartridge device that includes a tube, a cover and a stop block. The tube is sized to penetrate the longitudinal bore of the muzzle flash suppressor, and the tube has external threading to threadingly engage the internal threading in the longitudinal bore of the muzzle flash suppressor. The tube also includes an outer cone to form a seal with the inner cone of the muzzle flash suppressor. The tube further defines a core bore that is in communication with the bore of the barrel. The core bore is blocked by a constriction that defines an injector bore to provide communication between the core bore and a forward portion of the core bore. The core bore is in communication with at least one radial hole. The cover radially circumvents the lateral openings of the muzzle flash suppressor. Also, the stop block receives the tube, and the stop block includes a blind hole in communication with the core bore when the stop block receives the tube and the blank cartridge device is mounted on the muzzle flash suppressor.

摘要： Firearms having a locked breech are disclosed. An example firearm includes a barrel; a bolt head; a firing pin having a bulge; a bolt head carrier having a forward position and a rearward position; a central force receiving component receiving a rear end of the barrel and defining a plurality of recesses; and a locking bolt penetrating the bolt head. The locking bolt is movable between: (1) a locked position wherein the locking bolt engages in the recesses of the central force receiving component to thereby lock the bolt head to the central force receiving component and (2) an unlocked position wherein the bolt head is free to move with the bolt head carrier. The locking bolt is pressed by the bolt head carrier into the locked position when the bolt head carrier is in the distal position. The locking bolt defines an oblong hole which is penetrated by the firing pin. The oblong hole has a beveled edge which engages the bulge of the firing pin to push the firing pin rearward when the locking bolt moves from the locked position to the unlocked position. The barrel defines a gas intake opening. A gas cylinder is located in the central force receiving component. The gas cylinder is in communication with the gas intake opening. The bolt head carrier forms at least a portion of a gas piston which cooperates with the gas cylinder.
