摘要： A thin, flexible protective firearm cover is disclosed. The firearm cover can comprise a narrow barrel portion to receive and enclose a muzzle end of a firearm, a butt portion to receive and enclose a butt end of the firearm, and an intermediate portion between the barrel portion and the butt portion. The intermediate portion can have a size-adjustable opening that flexibly expands to allow the firearm to pass through. Reducing the size of the opening draws the butt portion and the barrel portion toward one another to secure the firearm cover about the firearm when the firearm is disposed in the cover. The firearm cover is thin and flexible to provide for compact storage of the firearm cover when the cover is not in use.

摘要： Firearms with charging handle slot covers have a receiver defining a passage receiving a reciprocating bolt assembly, the receiver having a wall defining an elongated slot, a handle external to the receiver and having a shank portion extending through the slot and an inner portion connected to the bolt assembly, a slot cover plate connected to the receiver and movable between a closed position at least partly covering the elongated slot and an open position at least partly exposing the elongated slot, and a cover element overlaying at least a portion of the slot cover plate. The slot cover plate may be spring biased to the closed position. The slot cover plate may be an elongated body with opposed ends independently movable with respect to each other. The slot cover plate may be configured to shift to cover the elongated slot away from the shank.

摘要： A dust cover for a firearm is provided. The cover includes a panel and a first extension extending from the panel and configured for engaging with the firearm to selectively secure the panel to the firearm. The panel is pivotable about the first extension to define a pivot point for pivoting the panel from a first position that encloses an opening or ejection port of the firearm and a second position in which the opening is not enclosed. The first extension is retractable relative to the panel to thereby allow for the selective engagement of the dust cover to the firearm. A related method of installing or replacing the dust cover is also provided.

The socket has a movable engagement prong shaped to engage a wall surface of a handguard slot. The plug has a prong engagement surface shaped to engage the engagement prong. The plug is shaped to apply a force on the engagement prong such that a distal portion of the engagement prong is flexed more than a proximal portion of the engagement prong.

摘要： A removable dust gate for an automatic weapon is described. The removable dust gate can include a retractable pivot pin having rod sections with compressible objects therebetween that allow the rod sections to be temporarily pushed together, shortening the length of the retractable pivot pin. When the pivot pin is shortened, it can be placed between two pin ports on the weapon. When released, the pivot pin will engage with the pin ports to secure the dust gate to the weapon in the correct position to engage with the ejection port on the weapon. By shortening the pivot pin, the dust gate can be an easily removed without having to change the design or configuration of current weapons or weapon design.
