摘要： Firearm associated electronic devices are provided. In one aspect a firearm associated device has a housing having a holding area and an opening through which a removable component may be positioned in the holding area, a door movable relative to the housing and having a door latch that moves along a path as the door moves and a housing latch movable between a first latch position where the housing latch is not in the path to a second latch position where the housing latch blocks movement of the door latch from a first range of positions where the door prevents the removable component from passing through the opening to a second range of positions where the door does not prevent the removable component from passing through the opening. A housing latch biasing member biases the housing latch into the second latch position. When the door latch is in the first range of positions and the housing latch is in the second latch position the door latch is movable along the path but is blocked by the housing latch from passing to the second range of positions.

There is: a bolt carrier near a chamber of a modular weapon system; an infeed ramp, coupled to a first side of a weapon frame near the chamber; an outfeed ramp, coupled to a second side of the capon frame near the chamber and opposite the infeed ramp, positioned to form a space between the infeed ramp and the outfeed ramp; and a feed arm assembly coupled to the weapon frame and extending over the space between the infeed ramp and the outfeed ramp, the feed arm assembly functionally coupled to the bolt carrier such that cycling of the bolt carrier forward and backwards causes cycling of the feed arm assembly in a circuitous motion, the feed arm including a grabbing protrusion that is shaped to grab a top portion of a link during cycling of the feed arm assembly.

摘要： Takedown pins for rifles have a pin movable in a direction along its length between an operating condition and a released condition. The pin has a first end portion that prevents relative movement of the upper receiver with respect to the lower receiver when the pin is in the operating condition. The first end portion has a lower end portion surface adapted to resist upward movement of the upper receiver's lug. The pin has an intermediate portion adjacent to the lower end portion surface defining a lower channel having a lower channel surface above the level of the lower end portion surface. When the pin is in the released condition, the lower channel is registered with the lug, and the lug is enabled to move upward with respect to the lower receiver by a limited distance to a disengaged position.

The receiver assembly includes an upper receiver portion, a lower receiver portion, and an upper receiver cover. The upper receiver portion defines a longitudinal axis, and an indexing slot operable to receive the gas tube. The upper receiver portion includes at least one integrated exterior track extending generally parallel to the longitudinal axis adapted to slidably couple with the upper receiver cover and a plurality of interior tracks extending generally parallel to the longitudinal axis adapted to slidably couple with the bolt assembly. The upper and lower receiver portions are pivotally connected to one another.

摘要： Quick take-down firearms and methods of using quick-take down firearms. The quick-take down includes an upper receiver coupling and a barrel coupling. The quick take-down can be unlocked by sliding a sliding lock collar in a translational motion to an unlocked position to release locking elements from a locked configuration. In the unlocked position, a barrel and handguard may be installed onto and removed from the upper receiver of the firearm. Releasing the sliding lock collar returns it to a locked position, securing the barrel and handguard to the upper receiver.
