摘要: A loudspeaker assembly includes a mounting bracket, a loudspeaker, and a locking mechanism for releasably securing the loudspeaker in a selected one of a plurality of pitch angles relative to the mounting bracket. The mounting bracket includes a mounting plate for securing the mounting bracket to a flat surface, and a support arm extending outwardly from the mounting plate. The loudspeaker includes an electro-acoustic transducer, and an acoustic enclosure defining a bracket passthrough for receiving the support arm of the mounting bracket such the loudspeaker is pivotable between the plurality of pitch angles.

摘要: A sleep assistance device is provided-for, including a contactless biometric sensor, a processor, memory, and a speaker. The processor detects a user's sleep state by reading signals from the contactless biometric sensor. The processor may then initiate a wind-down routine upon detecting a sleep-readiness state, including playing relaxing sounds or playing a respiration entrainment sound. The processor may also play noise-masking sounds upon detecting that a user has fallen asleep and seamlessly transition between the sounds played during the wind-down routine and the noise-masking sounds.

摘要: A headphone, headphone system, and speech enhancing method is provided to enhance speech pick-up from the user of a headphone and includes receiving a plurality of signals from a set of microphones and generating a primary signal by array processing the microphone signals to steer a beam toward the user's mouth. A noise reference signal is also derived from one or more microphones, and a voice estimate signal is generated by filtering the primary signal to remove components that are correlated to the noise reference signal.

摘要: A mold is provided. First and second materials are introduced into respective first and second portions of the mold to create a first and second parts of the item. The first and second parts of the item are allowed to solidify. The mold is opened and a heating element is inserted into the mold. A section of each of the first and second parts of the item is heated to above their glass transition temperatures with the heating element. The heating element is removed from the mold. The mold is closed such that the sections of the first and second parts of the item come into contact with each other. The sections of the first and second parts are cooled to below their glass transition temperatures to become joined. The mold is opened such that the item can be removed from the mold.

摘要: In a general aspect, a system includes circuitry for providing an engine harmonic scaling module and a summer. The engine harmonic scaling module is configured to receive a torque signal and a throttle signal, process the torque signal to generate a calibrated torque value, process the throttle signal to generate a throttle percentage value, determine a control parameter based on an examination of the calibrated torque value and the throttle percentage value, determine, based on the control parameter, a harmonic-specific scaling factor for each of one or more engine harmonic signals of a plurality of engine harmonic signals, and apply the corresponding harmonic-specific scaling factor to each of the one or more engine harmonic signals to generate corresponding scaled engine harmonic signals. The summer is configured to generate, from the scaled engine harmonic signals, a combined engine harmonic signal.
