摘要： A two-piece beverage carrier is disclosed comprising a one-piece folded longitudinal partition insert which is adhesively secured to the end panels and to the bottom panel of a separate paperboard shell. The shell may be constructed as a wrap-around carrier or it may be constructed in the form of a basket style. The insert for either type of shell has formed thereon a plurality of transverse butterfly partition panels which also have formed thereon glue tabs for adhesively securing the butterfly partitions to the side panels of the paperboard shell. The insert utilizes a low caliber, single thickness of paperboard information of the production blank and by the structure and outline of the butterfly partition panels, heavier thickness is obtained between cells of the erected carrier.

摘要： Two separate groups of six articles are assembled in separate lines while a carrier is unfolded, the carrier having a partition joined with a hinge to a top panel thereof such that the partition drops under the force of gravity to a vertically extending position. Then the groups of articles are assembled into opposite ends of the carrier on opposite sides of the partition whereby the partition maintains the groups separated.

摘要： A returnable wrap-around carrier for a plurality of objects such as beer bottles or the like of the type wherein the purchaser of the beer bottles places a deposit on the bottles for the return thereof to the storekeeper. The carrier and the bottles contained therein are completely enclosed affording protection to the bottles from light rays and protection from the bottles dropping out of the carrier. The carrier contains a built-in handle formed partly in the top panel of the carrier and partly in the central interior partition formed within the carrier. When the full pack of bottles .[.are.]. .Iadd.is .Iaddend.transported in the carrier to the purchaser's home, both handle means are used. Thereafter the top panel of the carrier may be completely removed from the side panels to expose the central partition handle which may be used to return the carrier and the empty bottles to the store for deposit. Thereafter the returned carrier may be used and reused as a simple basket carrier for distribution to other sources.

摘要： An improved partition structure for a wrap-around beverage carrier is disclosed. The partition structure comprises an elongated longitudinal structure having at least two hinged butterfly elements formed thereon and the structure has at least one hinged tab formed on the bottom edge of the partition structure. The tab extends on opposite sides of the structure for engagement beneath the bottles contained in the carrier. As a result the partition does not have to be glued to the carrier.

摘要： An improved crown support carrier production blank and erected carrier for use with a plurality of beverage bottles. The production blank and the erected carrier are formed with a plurality of inclined upper side and end panels hingedly attached to a central panel and hingedly attached to a plurality of vertical lower side and end panels. A plurality of T-shaped corner glue tabs are formed in the corners of the production blank and are adhesively secured to the lower side and end panels when the production blank is erected to a completed carrier. The T-shaped glue tabs act as an exceptional reinforcing strip on the corners while their shape and placement are designed to round out or soften the corners rather than have sharp piercing corners typical in prior art carriers. Sunburst bottle receiving openings are positioned in the central panel along with at least one opening for use in carrying the package.

摘要： An improved wrap-around beverage carrier which provides for total separation between adjacent containers in the carrier is provided in the subject invention. In the preferred embodiment the carrier is designed to hold twelve cans of a given product and is designed in a one-piece configuration. The novel partitioning arrangement within the carrier permits total separation to prevent cans from coming in contact with each other during shipping, thereby avoiding abrasion marks on printed aluminum beverage cans. The novel divider structure is hinged from an interior partitioned panel and has a novel configuration of the panel wherein the novel configuration allows the partition to be used for total separation without requiring additional partition structures to be placed within the carrier.

An end closure structure includes shade flaps which are automatically folded inward as lower tuck flaps are folded to raise the end of the carrier.
